Best time would be Feb to May out at the FADS about 10nm west of Rotto.

Only 1 white pointer encounter over last 7 years diving around Perth. Mainly bronze whalers and the odd tiger shark. And we free dive and also scuba most weekends.

Thanks, it was about 8 to 10 metres. The wide view on the gopro make it look deeper.

dstick1 We normally have 2 to 3 in the water together but with current restrictions 1 in the water 1 in the boat close by. Lucky for hunting Mahi Mahi they stay just under the surface and no need to dive more than 2 metres which is very safe. I think they bring the fads in soon, will have to wait until early next year to have another crack at them. 👍
