The 777s have missed potential imo, they're good but they keep breaking down, if they didn't break down alot I'd like them alot more than I currently do. But 507/8s will forever be my favourite.

Once again, thank you all so much for the support. We are getting close to 300 subscribers, which is crazy. I am currently working on a channel rebrand, getting it ready for Monday's video. If i can not get it done for the video I am planning for Monday, then I'll do it for next weeks video. Other than that, stay tuned for something non-Merseyrail related. UPDATE: I cannot get the video done for Monday since I am still in the process of rebranding my channel. Video will be out on Wednesday.

I think before the rest of the 507s go we need to see a massive improvement from the 777s

Yeah, most definitely because if they do not, then the whole network will struggle, multiple cancellations will happen, and it will just further destroy Merseyrails' reputation and It doesn't help that they have to run the older 507s since, at peak times, a 3 car is not ideal for like what happened yesterday. An Ormskirk 3 car cover had to cram on loads of people at Moorfields and Central, and it got to the point it was so packed you couldn't move. Hopefully, they do improve because I know they can improve, but STADLER aren't doing a very good job at it.

Just for clarity: The last Soho 323's in public service worked [2G75] the 23:31 Bromsgrove-Birmingham New St on Fri 27Sep2024. This train was scheduled to arrive at New St at 00:04 on Sat 28Sep2024. It was actually a few minutes late so it was possible to catch it at University or Five Ways on the Saturday. The Charity Special (in your video) took place on Sun 29Sep2024. (I can see myself on the train in the video!). Fri 04Oct2024 was the last time a 323 visited New St. It was an ECS working from Wolverhampton to Soho where it had been on static display for three hours as a 'Staff farewell'.

Train units have been added, plus timestamps. Just a correction that at 19:02 the second unit at the back is 350232 not 250232. That is a clear sign I nearly fell asleep on Sunday trying to edit this video as soon as possible.

All units that are still in service: 507001, 507003, 507007, 507010, 507016, 507017, 507018, 507023, 507029 All the rest of the 507s and 508s are withdrawn and scrapped and 507028 is sat at Aintree fire station. Rumours has it that three units are due to be withdrawn by the end of August and the rest by September.

I like the way that Ormskirk's only platform is numbered. Reassuringly, it's 1.

Ormskirk is only one platform however it is split into two. For Merseyrail Trains it is marked as Platform 1 towards Liverpool. Platform 2 is beyond the buffers at the other end for trains to Preston. Weird that they didn't split it into A and B rather than displaying them as two separate platforms when they aren't.
