Love me some Sheetiron, missed this one unfortunately…. If I had to make any complaint about the ride it’s for sure the riders who take breaks in the middle of the dang trail-it drives me absolutely nuts!

Good times! There's so much to explore in California. I wonder why we fly overseas. 😆

Nice job on the switchbacks. The GoPro does not accurately show how off camber and loose those sections are.

When I stalled on that on switchback, I suddenly realized that it's STEEP.

Yea, the right side is definitely the "better" side. All year SxS and 4x4s dig out the left side. A couple years ago in January, a buddy went for a swim with his DRZ. By the time we got the water out of the cylinder head, gas tank and carb, we had to setup camp on the banks just above the crossing. At the time, the far end of it on the "shallow" side, was totally swallowing our 21" front tires - so depth was probably 24-26" - probably stupid to cross then, but meh... Easily one of the most miserable night's I've ever experienced as we had prepared to camp at Fouts Springs (where nights were expected to be mid 40s) and instead camped creekside where it went down to about 30 + humidity/windchill. Legit sucked.

Where did you get the GPS mount for the KLX?
@blastradiu55 ай бұрын
I made it out of 1/2"x1/8" flat bar stock (I forget if it was aluminium or steel). I can do a quick little video that shows the details about it if you'd like.

@@blastradiu5 Thanks, I was thinking of doing something similar. A video would be great. P.S. I also just did the Sheetiron on my KLX.

That path doesnt look too good for pulling a trailer to geologist cabin
@blastradiu5 Жыл бұрын
Once you get past Barker Ranch and head up and over Mengel Pass, that is definitely not suitable for pulling a trailer.
