Wonderful ride guys! Nice Adventure trikes, are those the regular or the HD versions?

Hello! Sorry for taking a while to reply. I believe these are the standard Adventure versions!

Just can't understand why an able-bodied individual chooses a recumbent, let alone a recumbent trike over a bicycle. Too many limitations. I wouldn't want to ride more than 7 miles either.

Hey Brian! I also ride a bicycle, but I'm fortunate to have the choice in choosing between a recumbent trike and a bicycle. I find there aren't many limitations to the trike either! Comfiest 7 miles of riding I've ever had! :)

Thank you for sharing. My wife rides an ICE QNT since 2010: lot of fun with it!

You're welcome! I have my own ICE Sprint x Tour now and it's brilliant! I haven't had much time to ride it recently though. Safe travels!

Hello.. an observation.. it looks like your knees bend at extreme angles on the return stroke.. Too long of crank arms (172mm) vs using a shorter (152mm) crank arm will help.. and putting 1" spacers on the ends of the arms (between the pedals) will set your feet further apart.. It sounds like your back problems are great.. You don't want to complicate that issue with a knee issue.. and it will be easier on the back. I am assuming you are not 6 plus feet tall.. (they need the 172mm crank arms) any rider shorter needs the shorter 152mm crank arms.. The spacers provide a more natural alignment to keep you knees at proper distance and that will also assist alignment of hips and back.. This is what my chiropractor recommended.. Talk to your bike mechanic or doctor.

Hello! Thank you for the kind comment. My partner and I were renting these trikes on a day out! I wanted to test the waters before I purchased one. On the day, they only had the ICE Adventures available, so we decided to go with them! I'm 6ft 1, so on the day they adjusted the boom of the trike to my specification. However, I was only on it for 2 hours, so I didn't want to complain about the boom being too short. Regarding the spacing, I did feel it! On my ICE Sprint x Tour I went with 172mm crank arms and big MTB Pedals. I think the spacing is adequate due to me not feeling any discomfort on long rides. One thing I do need to sort out are the steering arms, but they only need adjusting slightly. Thanks again!

I love this trike. I had to replace the tyres straight away though, as the ones they came with weren't the best. Managed to get 4 punctures in 30 miles

A beautiful day for a ride. The Go Pro did a fine job of recording the trail. Might I suggest using a chest mount harness instead of the helmet mount? Great first video. What is your content going to be for your channel?

Thank you for the comment! I have the chest mount, so I'll try that next time. I've just bought an ICE Trike, so when I get my hands on that, the channel will be primarily based around touring on it!
