Fenders denote a truss rod "hole" with paint on the head when the adjustment is on the heel, but I've never seen a fake adjustment cover like this Truetone has. It was also misleading when Harmony printed "Steel Reinforced Neck" on the headstock in the 50s because there was a truss rod, but it wasn't adjustable. Also, is the pickup like the "pancake" pickup the old Kays used? It doesn't look like a vintage foil. A beautiful example of a player grade guitar; To me, they let you feel their history. Sorry for rambling.

@TooLooze Thanks for your comment and valuable knowledge! some "sneaky" things went on back then, lol I have seen this truss rod thing before, I have also owned an old truetone acoustic that had the "steel reinforced neck" it's not adjustable or usable . lol. hope things are going well! Jake

My Tak is matte it shines in the spots you would expect. I liked the finish and would use the top as a shhh if you will, like a brush on a snare. It shines there now too. Who gets it next may want to buff it.

Im not gonna assume they have the same rating since each is from a different brand. Is there a way to calculate the impedance of a single speaker ? Reliably ;) thanks again
