I just acquired a Blueridge yesterday. Played last night till my fingers hurt. Pretty sound. Your name sounds like you’re from the Balkans. My wife is half Croatian/half Serbian.

Just lovely stuff! How are the natural nails holding up to the steel strings?

Beautifully played. And it's incredible how good that A50 sounds, for their least expensive Artist Series model.

Hello Goran, great video as always! How would you compare the neck profiles of the M700 and the A90? Are Saers guitars necks quite fat in profile generally? Thank you!
@GoranIvanovic9 күн бұрын
those two models have same neck profile. the neck profile is slimm and plays comfortably

Powerful guitar. Been aware of Marvi's excellent guitars since Gerardo Nunez started using them in the early 2000s. Would love try one out in the not so distant future. He builds in Granada but has a very modern style of building. Great example Goran!

There is a reason why the Romantic guitar was THE guitar for 150 years! A violin is 10 times louder than a classical guitar which proves its small is often mighty! The Romantic Guitar is a true guitar for any style of music.

Can you give the dimensions of the nut? Is it standard 52mm? How is the playability of the guitar compared to other brands/models?
@GoranIvanovic24 күн бұрын
sure its 52mm at the nut. great playability action is low and comfortable to play without buzzing. I can't compare it to any other brands bus I don't think there are lattice braced companies. for example we compared tom Humphrey lattice vs Saers M700 and Saers stand on its own.

Question about the truss rod. I've read a lot of discussions over on Delcamp on this issue, and the majority opinion seems to be that they are never needed, in practice, on a classical guitar. Then on acoustic guitar forums, most are quick to point out that the truss rod shouldn't be used to adjust the "action", but just the relief. Anyway, you say in this video that when you live in a place like you where it gets very humid then gets very dry, it's nice to have the truss rod. Could you be more specific about how you have actually used the truss rod to adjust the neck in these situations?
@GoranIvanovicАй бұрын
ok so cheaper guitars built with woods that might move over time should probably have a truss rod to fix the neck relief not the action. For example my Collings neck was cut across the grain and therefor truss rod is most definitely not needed because the wood is very dense and will not change overtime.

I love the tone Altamira caught with its guitars. I feel like they actually have a character with brand. Warm tones with like, hard projection. Sound is very 3d and they give great range of dynamics.

I'm sure it's great but your recording comes over very bright and brittle with distortion in the louder sections. (Listening with headphones.)
