Ok, Venus is closer to the Sun by about 30 million miles and has 900,000 parts per million CO2 concentration, no oceans or plant life to absorb C02 so it lacks the basics ability to deal with CO2. And also because of the SO2 clouds the amount of solar energy penetrating is cut to around 65% less. You can do the same mathematical analysis on Mar's to arrive at what it's temperature would be.
