I have a question can i do that just conecting to the batery +&-power the reciver? 3 times × with no drone just plug to the battery

Yes, no drone needed but receiver needs 5v so voltage stepper is needed to achieve the voltage. When you plug it to the battery straight alway you gonna burn the receiver.

In my opinion is the best I have used so far (and went through a bunch of). You can match it with kiss fc with no issues and fly 2400 dshot if needed.

Do you need to use smart audio to set up the vtx or can you just use the buttons on the vtx

Hi, yes you can use buttons if you not able to set up smart audio. It’s just easier using osd.

I use these motors for freestyle they’re personally my favorite and underrated they feel a lot faster than like a 2207/2306 and are pretty durable but 2107.5 is a different typa feeling IMO

Never used 2207 geprc but normally I use 2207 motors daily and 2207.5.

To which speedybee connection point did you solder each wire of vtx ? and which Ground wire did you tape ? There are 2 of them.

Hi, well, that’s not a speedybee it’s cl racing f4. Taped the ground and power for the camera as is powered from fc not vtx.

Thanks. One qn : Did you have to update the firmware in your TC12 Mk2 in order to be able to do this? I have bought this unit and there is a sticker on it that is warning me not to use the original firmware and I must update the firmware. I am also confused about firmware update videos talking about cooking up a bin file using the ERLS configurator that matches the binding passphrase of your receiver. Did you have to do that?

Hey, no, I got one of the first radios with receivers and all of them on the same firmware actually. But had to change firmware on my old receivers to get them working... No issues at all actually. I think the best you could do is to watch Bardwell's videos about ELRS firmware how to do it.

Hello nice tutorial, but I must say I am in a deep trouble , hoping you guys could help me ,I am very new to this field , this is my first build with Pixhawk 2.4.8 and Mission planner. I am planning to buy TX12 Mark II Radio Controller (ELRS version) , please help me choose a receiver, I am unable to figure out what is needed for my quadcopter and also what is the difference between RP1 ,RP2,RP3 ELRS Nano Receivers and ER4 ER6 ER8 2.4GHz ELRS PWM receivers? please help me and also do I only have to buy the receiver or any other extra hardware with it ?

Thanks man. Unfortunately cannot help you as I know nothing about Pixhawk fc. Pwm receivers are used with planes etc where you need separate channels for each flaps etc. Rp1-rp3 are for drone fc where you only need rx and tx port.
