Pretty sure "[Agent] ruined valorant" has been like in the minds of every impulsive opinion makers, and this was even more applicable than Chamber and Jett back then yet here we are. That feeling will pass, the nerf will come and now "the game will not be ruined". Neon is one of the very few agents that is actually fun to play (the other being Jett and Raze), just stop malding because they made a fun character actually viable to play lol Valorant players when they have to move instead of staring at a wall for 30 minutes:

The problem is not that she’s viable, it’s that she’s way too good in ways that have very little counter play. We know she’s fun for the one person playing neon, but she’s a huge problem for everyone that’s not.

As someone who just got back into RL, I'm having fun. Weird that trading went away, but i hear friends talk about buying stuff more than ever so maybe it works for them. Also this felt like a lot of fluff, are there more issues that higher salaries and lack of sponsors? Like in CoD, a team literally can not play a tournament together without Activisons approval which only happened for eswc and 1 creator tourney this year.

You have to remember that the series is movie level of animation and work. Each season is around 6 hours long. each season is the equivalent of 3 movies in lenght. That is 6 whole movies. The cost of production is surprisingly *low* for something like that.
