In 1949, Edward H. Seymour, of Sycamore, Illinois, added paint to existing spray can technology at his wife Bonnie's suggestion. It was initially designed to demonstrate an aluminum paint he developed.His patent was awarded in 1951. Spray paint has been used in modern graffiti since its origins, when TAKI 183 began tagging with spray paint.

I may have said it before but if you didn't know........ I heard about when Rase died. Also others in Bliss and Evil. It bothered me alot in late 90s to think that writers died doing something positive, not violent. I took paper cuttings that i photo copied to nyc 1989 to hand out to writers. Because i thought writers should know about him. I never met him. I now know some of his friends. It could happen to any of us. Rest in Peace Rase. Heaven spots is probably the most addictive shit ever, that adrenaline like damn I could die rn or if I get caught i cant run. Being in the west side seeing hella fools hits way up there is always the coolest thing about the game
