This is what Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE should’ve been. Balancing both the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei series, by properly representing them rather than just two FE installments, and less on SMT(would be cool if Raidou Kuzunoha was a Mirage as well). Talk about missed potential(though I assume Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE turned out to be disappointing by both series’ fandoms due to some understandable reasons: Atlus’ northern division closing down for good after SMTIV’s launch, and Sega’s acquisition of the company the same year, as Sega saw the Persona series’ popularity until the release of Persona 5 lead to the franchise reaching more global success than ever before; and since this was Sega as they focused on nostalgia pandering in the Sonic series since Generations performed well both critically and financially, they’ve had a chokehold on Atlus and Nintendo to focus less on the entire Fire Emblem and SMT IPs, and more on Shadow Dragon and Awakening, respectively due in part with their notoriety as well as an original story reminiscent of Persona as mentioned above; I’ll be mentioning these reasons alone in my 'Top 10 Guilty Pleasure Games' list on my channel).
