The only way to really survive deep into the game as the warrior is to have a Strange sword of haste, or at least a strange prefix weapon of some sort. I remember spending all of 1997 wasting my time on this game, what an addiction! Eye still twitches nervously while watching it played. Though you have to admire how revolutionary it was.

Yeah the game is pretty bad, but there are some interesting things here. The enemy sprites and animations are pretty good. I also am intrigued by the inventory system and exploration sections like on the crashed plane. They should have gone heavier into adventure/puzzles and less neverending enemies to be macheted. There is a compelling survival horror game potentially hidden inside this game somewhere.
