I been natural for 10 years and my son wants to texturize his hair I’m so nervous about this… I know how it affected me as a young girl and now our little boys having the same feelings of needed softer hair kills me but we are going to do it because it’s his hair lol

It’s just hair and if he doesn’t want it anymore it can be cut and he can start over. I remember letting my son express himself with his hair from different colors and styles , Mohawks and dread locks 🤷🏽♀️ . I simply said it’s your hair do what you want.
