What the fuck does being from Utah or Brooklyn have to do with the subject matter that is being discussed? Someone could be from homosexual island, if they ask a question about basketball, you're supposed to refer to basketball in the answer, not homosexual island. Let's bang some booty.

I remember this show and I was disappointed when it got canceled. SAS didn't cave in to the offer that ESPN tried to give him so he jetted, but on good terms. Now he's back and on one of the best talk sports shows First Take, getting spoofed on SNL and also has a radio show back in his home town NYC! SAS is a smart man and waited for the right time to come back to ESPN family. SAS hasn't changed, but the viewing public has and accepted him. Don't hate, just Embrace Debate.

SAS is right. If sloan went and started coaching the knicks and they did well, he wud be getting all the accolades he cud imagine. No1 gives a shit about him or his achievements now because utah aint as good as they used to be in the 90s.
@Tusc996912 жыл бұрын
But he also said he was from Brooklyn...which he's not! Uh, you can't be from two places. You're only from place of origin..where you were born or raised. What he should've of said was, I'm from utah currently residing or living or relocated in brooklyn. So stephen in essence was right.

@FatalityTTT "he keeps it real" Yeah, real fuckin stupid! The guy said "I'm from Brooklyn, originally from Utah." Obviously the man's point was that he wasn't just some tourist from Utah, and that he now lives in NY, so he wasn't trying to pass himself off as a person born and bred in NY, as the dummy Smith was implying!

I fail to see "owned" hes splitting hairs over the words from and live. I was born in Texas lived there till I was 5 and then moved to Indiana and lived there ever since. I'm 34. I dont have a Texas drawl, But I was born there, I wasnt born in Indiana but I have spent most of my life there. Ive lived in several different countries...was a foreign exchange student. So where am I from? Like I said, splitting hairs to go for audience approval without actually making a valid point.

@DerHeinz666 agreed. stephen should lighten up ( no pun). he does try to be hard edge . this nice clean cut white boy was just tryin to fit in . i guess he lives in brookjlyn know so get off his fucking back.if a dominican moved into brooklyn yesterday and said im from brooklyn hommie wouldn't say shit. but stepphen has to take white boy to task after he said hes originally from utah. quit hatin SAS. that being said SAS is generally grumpy to all and freely clowns dumb blacks ie vick, plex,

I already had you but it has nothing to do with a "compelling" argument. I got you because you're implicitly stupid. Again, Stephen A is pointing out a very simple concept: you can't claim to be from somewhere you aren't from because it's too easy to point out. I live in Denver but it's rather obvious that I'm from Back East. Why? It's a different sensibility. I lived on the border of Utah too. Guess what, it was easily spotted too (my race notwithstanding). It's simple. Enjoy your thrashing.
@upabittoolate13 жыл бұрын
@DerHeinz666 The ignorant person posted your comment. This has nothing to do with a "nigga moment". The guy is from Utah; not Brooklyn. They're places with completely different (oftem polar opposite) sensibilities. It's very simple. You obviously DON'T know what hood is. If you did, I wouldn't have to explain the principle "sensibility" to you. If I'm ignorant (def: not in the know) it's about why you felt compelled to talk to me. Nuff sed. Enjoy your thrashing. Deuces.
@upabittoolate13 жыл бұрын
@DerHeinz666 It's not about being hood. You don't even know what "hood" is. This is about being a New Yorker. Learn the difference, idiot.
