The silence for Conor's part is beautiful. The hollering for M.Ward's part is beautiful. Nate in the trumpet is beautiful. Everything is beautiful. For a moment I forgot that life existed

You and I, we might be strangers However close we get sometimes It's like we never met But you and I, I think we can take it All the good with the bad Make something that no one else has but You and I, you and I Me and you, what can we do When the words we use sometimes Are misconstrued Well, I won't guess, what's coming next I can't ever tell you The deepest well I've ever fallen into Oh, I don't wanna know Oh, I don't wanna know Oh, I don't need to know Everything about you Oh, I don't wanna know And you, don't need to know That much about me You and I, we might be strangers However close we get sometimes It's like we never met But you and I, I think we can take it All the good with the bad Make something that no one else has but You and I, you and I You and I, you and I You and I, you and I You and I, you and I

I get the vibe she sang along to this song a lot because she sounds so much more like John than she normally does. Like she has a lot of his inflections when she’s singing this

I remember seeing this guy in mpls maybe 2003 or so. It was awesome. I remember going to the record store to get I’m wide awake it’s morning. Many late nights in college were spent driving around Minneapolis or St Paul at 3am listening to Fevers and Mirrors 🪞 and Lifted, often somewhat drunk or high, but always sad yet comforted and even joyous listening to these songs.

They are a new band that's absolutely brilliant...it gives us faith in music that the opinion of many people of my age (55), that modern music isn't as dumb as we thought. I wish them the best. They have a new single now called Angelica. Their fifth I believe.

Does anyone know what kind go guitar the guy is playing? It's a weird looking guitar and he plays it weird, LOL. Anyway, this is my second favorite song of 2021, and I look forward to their 2022. Prediction: they do SNL.

@@spacerockerlightyears Oh, OK. Phoebe Bridgers uses Danelectro baritone guitars (that was the kind she tried to smash on SNL), but she plays it normally. Someone should ask the Wet Leg guy why he plays it that way, LOL.

@@onefootsteve5919 Hi, he might like playing like that, high up, bearing in mind he also flirts with the synth so guitar may get in the way if lower. I have a Dano 63, fab guitar, short scale 6 string, black and white. Danelectro guitars have a certain twang about them that makes them unique🎸
