Do you have to bleed the system afterwards? If so where does the coolant level have to be at cold temperature and where does it have to be at warm temperature?

At the 3:45 mark, we instruct to fill the tank halfway and use the sight glass on the side to verify the correct cold level. Nothing else should be required prior to running the engine.

You'd follow the same steps as Ford/OE recommends. Our products will not change the design of the system to require an alternate process.

Can you run this with the stock intercooler piping + stock tune? Also when tuned is it recommend to upgrade the piping?

It's compatible with OEM piping. However, we never tested the limitations of the OEM piping coupled with our intercooler.

Request you make a transmission line solution for the existing GM Sierra 1500 V8 unit applied to the 4.3 V6 Sierra model ... the radiator fits fine and the routing is there but the OEM cooler scheme is for the radiator is totally different. GM radiator PN GM (84186716) oil cooler and trans cooler integral.

That would entirely depend on the condition of your cooling system and age of the coolant in the system.

No check valve is needed on the outlet before the intake? Why would the accord 1.5L turbo need a check valve but the civic does not require one?

A check valve is required in some fashion, yes. Otherwise, you will more than likely experience a vacuum leak.

I have a 6.4 Hemi. There is no real transmission cooler on the struts except for the top of the transmission. I’m going to add one tomorrow 11/27/24. Looks to me like your video is going to be a big help to me. Thank you.

Jesus guys good video but seriously your tool box is UP AGAINST the freaking car.... At any rate just ordered the intake for my Nitrous blue and I am eagerly awaiting it. I have your transmission and oil coolers on my jeep and the quality is top notch so I didn't even think twice order for the RS. Just had to give you crap about the tool box against the poor car :)

If you are asking if the turbo will spool up faster, yes. The intake will allow it to breath better and net gains of up to 9 whp and 10 wtq on the stock tune.

While this is not something we have tried, it should be possible if you tie it into the low-pressure side. Again, we have not tried it and are unsure of how well it'll work as the internal cooler is surrounded by 185+F coolant.

I sourced this video out to figure out how to remove the struts in my 2007 and a half GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab 4x4 to replace the CV axles. As I am not the one that put the 3-in suspension lift kit on the struts or the upper control arms from rough country and it's hard to find in a maintenance video after the truck's been lifted like this

The filter should be cleaned every 10-15k miles. Depending on the driving style, your location, and how often you drive, we typically suggest cleaning the filter at least once a year.

This video was incredibly helpful. Very well thought out and executed. Thank you for all your efforts. Notes from following the video: the hood lamp switch is in the way of the tool (my wrench) for removing the lower bolt on the drivers side radiator stay strap. (Could be removed earlier) and the step of disconnecting the upper primary radiator hose appears to have been edited out. Notes excluded, this was easily one of the best instructional videos I've ever encountered. Thank you so much for posting and keep up the great work. 👍
