My grandmother told me how she and her mother would churn butter every week growing up in the Midwest prairie. I thought "how much work!!" I don't eat butter but this is very cool. butter molds would work well too. Thank you Jojo! I would not have known without this video

Keep up the good work. With food prices going sky high, people need to learn how to do what our great grandparents knew how to do. MY Grandparents taught us many things how to do that todays generation can't. Today people think chocolate milk comes from brown cows. Again, thank you.

Does the homemade cream cheese taste like the Philadelphia cream cheese from the grocery store? How does the homemade cream cheese differ from ricotta cheese?

Thank you for the video. The cleanest heavy cream I can find is O Organics. Yet, it still has gellan gum in it. It costs $7.99 for 32 oz (4 cups) current regular price. From the video, that would make about 15 oz or just under a pound of butter. At the same store, I can buy 16 oz butter for $6.99 regular price or $3.99 on sale today, and the ingredients are just cream and salt. A different brand is $4.49 regular price (also cream and salt.) Sadly, although cool, it's just not a deal for me. 😢

the trouble is getting cheap cream. i made about 2 lbs of butter and it was great. but i bought cream that had been matked down.
