The sound of the Wavestate is routed directly from my Mackie console via a special audio adapter into my little “GoPro Hero 5 Black”, without external effects, without compressors, without EQs or anything. It's the pure sound of the Wavestate. No "post-editing" of the audio signal, no DAW, no multitrack-recording. The entire recording is played “live” !

Hmmmm ... I just tapped through my new sounds and played what I could think of. Everything is improvised. I haven't memorized the individual names of the patches I played, but they are all included in my new SUICIDIA sound pack.

There was one moment during 2003 when I probably could’ve bought this synthesizer for a comparatively low price when one was on the floor of my favorite retailer. What stopped me? Aside from not having that many pennies to spend, everybody I knew was trying to talk me out of getting too much gear. It’s as though they all knew gear acquisition syndrome was a real thing for me.

O pacote de sons está disponível nos formatos *.syx e *.bin. O *.syx pode ser facilmente enviado para o JD-800 com qualquer dumper sysex ou DAW. O *.bin pode ser importado para o plugin JD-800 VST. Não existe um formato para o Boutique JD-08.

The summit is such a great synth. I traded mine for an Arturia Polybrute, its a great synth too but i do miss my Summit. I still dont even know if i did the right thing trading it.

I have no idea, as I don't know the memory structure and the import options of the JD990. The soundpack "DAWN" is available as *.syx for the JD-800 synth and *.bin for the JD-800 VST plugin.
