That guy Chris from the winter park store is really rude I really wish world wide corals would train their employees to be nicer ☹️

Jason, you should make a “experienced” reefer video talking about dosing, supplemental elements, etc. that would be a killer video.

So my system seems to use more calcium than magnesium. Does this make sense? You say don't want to add magnesium without calcium and vice versa however that doesn't seem to work out in my system.

I'm #WWCteamHOB ! Get a Seachem Tidal 35. Stronger, controllable flow, surface skimming, and you can use any media! I run a Tidal110 on my 75g reef tank.

I love your videos. I got into reefing 2 years ago. I started with a 32 gal biocube and love it. I have added another 32g biocube and have a 90g in my work office. I am not a professional reefer but having a lot of fun and learn as I go, Corals are doing well in all my tanks. I purchased a waterbed AIO 20g during the holiday due to a big discount. I am going to add that to my home office and add SPS. Keep up the great work. I will be in Orlando in March and will be stopping by the store. I live in cold Wisconsin.

Looking at your prices it all seems good but the rock $15 is really cheap maybe it is just a miss, but if you're selling it that cheap in the store, i may make the drive, lol.

What do you do if you have to leave for a week? Can you just mix enough kalk for that amount of time? Or will it lose potency

I'd also throw in a $20 Alexa enabled power strip and use it as a poor man's controller. You can setup routines for maintenance, feed mode, etc. I'm also a fan of the inkbird temperature controller for cheap insurance if the heater malfunctions

Just need to ask where, in the world, do i get that much rock for 15$ its 10$ a pound for live rock, and 4$ a pound for dry everywhere. i looked Also you might think about including test kits water source in any type of bacterial additives for cycling a tank in the initial price Obviously cant add everything you will need but i think test kit and water are a must

The explanation of who these videos were geared toward was perfect. I was one of those who gave you some pushback on prices and equipment for the beginner. But I honestly think your explanation and showing two different beginner tanks was fantastic. I follow your advice very closely and especially lighting schedules and recommendations. One thing that caught my attention today was zoa placement. I have an awesome colony rock that is slowly closing up and looking poor. I think I need to move it up off the sand bed to get it some more direct lighting. Very interested in watching how you guys fiddle with the Marineland tank to bring it closer to an affordable "good" tank. Thanks for getting these videos out to all of us!

I’m a fan of the conventional 20high tank. With like a 40-50 dollar Nero clone pump off Amazon. For a light I’d do a semi controllable light off Amazon for about 50 bucks and I bet that tank would thrive. Maybe upgrade the filter in the future to a Seachem tidal 35/55. If it’s a competition my money is on the 20 high.

I have the same tank … with Nero 3. And blade lights 1 grow 1 glow .. I replace the original pumps for nano sicce., .. the filters socks I did a custom for flush pad ..

Having just gotten back into the hobby, I can confidently say if you're patient enough, and willing to make the drives, you can get almost if not everything off of Facebook marketplace even livestock for less than $300, which don't get me wrong is still a lot of money for most people in this economy, but in comparison with this hobby that is a great price point. Also taking a shot for every time Jason says, "a million ways to skin a cat"

Love the tank tour videos. They’re my favorite of all your videos. As someone who struggles with how to determine proper flow and light, I’d like to suggest that during the interview you ask them program run, strength, and power for both lights and power heads. I’d love to have an idea of tank turnover rates and lighting levels for these beautiful tanks.
