Great job on it! This such an epic song from a miraculous album. I remember the first time I heard Mountain Song many moons ago, is when I started playing bass. I am now heavily influenced with the way I play from Eric to this day. I’d like to hear you play this with a semi hollowbody tele

Thank you very much. I learned a lot about "feel" from listening to their records when I was growing up and learning to play myself. I'm sure I carry some of that with me. I've been fortunate enough to have seen them a handful of times over the years, and saw them twice last year when they were here in LA. Eric's playing was so powerful and was really driving those songs. Such a tasteful player. Never played a thin line, I'd be curious to try one!

I always have a guitar that's downtuned to C so when I was playing along to this song it worked perfectly. But this guitar cover makes me wonder if they actually recorded this track in standard tuning since it's so well done. I don't know what to believe anymore lol.

Drop D tuning! Love this song. The down sweep picking arpeggio of the intro is challenging for me. :)

I also struggled with the intro at first. Barring with my index finger helped a lot. Stick with it! You'll figure it out.

I have used one of these translation tools from time to time and these have gotten much better, but I still see the translation comes out as somewhat awkward and unnatural, but yours are done surprisingly nicely. I first thought this is a KZbin channel done by a Japanese person :)
