FIXED INDEX. Do not buy INDEX. Buy Fixed only Again, a FIXED annuity is like a CD with NO market risk.

so in your example, you lose those 5 months of ss as over income limit, but you get that back at FRA and really don't lose any money but you are stuck with that lower ss benefit for remainder of lifetime correct?

Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.

True, It has never been easier to understand how to build your money after retirement than it is right now with the inflation, when you may study and experience a completely variegated market passively by employing a successful portfolio-advisor. The impacts of the U.S. dollar's gain or fall on investments, in my opinion, are complex.

Even if you’re not skilled, it is still possible to hire one. I was a project manager and my personal portfolio of approximately $850k of my retirement pension took a big hit in April due to the crash. I quickly got in touch with a financial-planner that devised a defensive strategy to protect my funds and make profit from my portfolio this red season. I’ve made over $250k since then.

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’’ for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Thanks for asking. We pick a number in between for those with very little too over 1 million. Thus, $500k. However, all you have to do is simply divide these numbers and half for 250,000. Most importantly, depending your situation these types of annuities may or may not be in your best interest. That’s why it’s supposed to give us a call and we can figure out what’s best in your situation. We have a five step process that will help you figure out what is best for your particular asset level. I'm not sure if a RILA is a hybrid pension or not. Terminology used for these products takes some time to learn. I have been studying RILAS and they do have some fees. One in particular was 1.25% plan cost fee and a .70% income benefit rider fee, 1.25% + .70%=1.95% total. Uncapped, with 130% participation rate and a 10% index loss buffer. These new types of annuities get quite confusing and seem to be intentionally complex. I appreciate your channel to help weed out some of the confusion.
@kciis
@kciis 6 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! RILAS are registered indexed annuities and are similar to variable Annuties. Is there is market volatility there are also more fees. We don’t like annuities with all those fees. Especially, if you are buying them for income purposes. Feel free to call us if you have more questions. Kai & Ann Chung 408-502-7080

@@kciis JP Morgan as in Chase bank one of the biggest banks in the world. I would have done better putting it into one of their savings accounts. I think it was at 130% I shouldn’t have to be concerned with the sequence of returns in an annuity. 3 years and not even a dollar? To me it looks like they averaged out any gain I had over the 3 years. They are using my pension money to get gains for JP Morgan while I get zero. Or shall I say “but you didn’t lose any money” which I totally disagree with. I lost time which is money. Then when I need this annuity they will base it on what I have in the account. So JP Morgan and Nationwide are looking out for each other and not me. JP Morgan averages out any gain over 3 years… Balance doesn’t change Nationwide doesn’t have to increase the monthly annuity payout. Totally understand Ken Fisher right now. I learned the hard way….

Thanks for all your videos! Your explanation of FIAs (this vid as well as your others) has helped a lot. For my specific situation, I'm convinced that I'll just continue option trading from my retirement accounts. By no means is this advisable for everyone, as it comes with greater risk and requires a certain mindset. For many, third party managed trading will work best. You have given great information for both sides, IMHO. I'm looking forward to your next presentation about all the whopping 2024 Medicare increases.

I like my two 5 year, fixed index annuities and my 5 cd ladder. I like them because I lost 50,000 dollars in 2008. I had some tell me I didn't lose any because I didn't draw off of it. But it took 2 years to get back to where I was before the loss. So what I have now does not care what the stock market does. My Annuities have done well and I am guaranteed the interest on the CD's I purchased.

Very informative video (thank you)! My advisor is recommending I move funds from a previous annuity (F&G Accumulator Plus 10 with Barclays Sector 5) to the Silac Denali 14 FIA as a better option. The F&G returned 0% over the past 2 years and I'm obviously not happy with a 0% return. Can I get your thoughts on the Silac Denali 14 FIA? I've read the company has recently been downgraded to a B+ rating by AM Best..

Both of you are good presenters but your subject matter is so vast it is very hard to keep up and let the mind formulate good questions and understanding. You know your subject but I doubt if one tenth of one percent knows half of what you have committed to understanding. I’m going to search your playlist and see if you have made a video that just focuses on one particular need that an annuity researcher might be able to digest. If you have one in your playlist maybe you could point me to it. My thoughts at the present are simple. My wife and I are 72 and we are debt free. The cash we have is making the 4.4% that the rates in our bank provide at present. But we know that at some point in the not too distant future those rates will decline when the fed believes the economy will need a stimulus. Our income with retirement and SS is 90 K a year. Not a lot. So my question is simple. Is their a reason why an annuity in our circumstance would be something that we would benefit from because we would get a return each year that would exceed what banks are producing now and is there a risk to that? At our age growth is not a factor. Income is. I know I put a lot in there and if it’s too much I understand.
