Oh no, I didn't realize Peter died earlier this month. Only Paul is left. How incredibly sad. They were wonderful. I was 9 in 1962 when I first fell in love with them. In Yokohama, my older siblings and I would listen to them on Armed Forces Radio. Wonderful times. I married my late wife in 1977. Like every other couple, we had "The Wedding Song" played during our wedding. Thank you Paul.

I sure hope Mary was waiting for Peter at the Pearly Gates when he got up there. God bless us for having their talent with us through those years.

My father was a big fan of Peter, Paul and Mary and took me to see them quite a few times during their 60s peak as captured in this video. They were great in concert, very personable and humorous (esp. Paul), and had several songs arranged for audience participation. Their voices blended so beautifully and Mary was very righteous, stomping, shaking her head and flipping her hair. After their concerts they signed autographs and talked to the audience. .Love their version of Early Morning Rain. So wonderful to have this footage to preserve their magic.

My late wife, Leslee, who passed in August 2023, loved Peter, Paul and Mary, and we never missed a performance at the Ravinia Festival, in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. We were able to catch one ot their last performance before Mary's passing. We are thankful for the great music of their era. Now, Peter Yarrow has joined her singing to the Lord in Heaven.

My sister, God rest her soul, was 4 years my senior. I liked music but didn't have any money to buy any records. So I raided her stores. She did not have quite my taste, leaning toward musical, gospel etc. However, she was also into folk. Among her treasures were a few albums of PP&M. I was about 12 or so, early 60s. I have many things to be grateful to Gladdie, I wish I had told her more of how she influenced me. Perhaps I didn't have to - she was pretty observant in some ways. Folk music has always been like tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches to me. The good news, I feel, is that along with Mary, she is now talking with Peter as well, wherever they may now be. Thank you for posting gem. In remembering Peter Yarrow, I also get to reminisce about my sister.

I remember one evening in 1965, when I was 7, my father brought home our first stereo, set it up in the living room, and the first LP he put on was Blowing in the Wind. The first song was the powerful "Very Last Day" - a stirring spiritual written by Peter and Paul. So much has changed, my parents long gone, our children grown with children of their own. But the perfect harmonies of Peter, Paul and Mary still stir me. Hearing them brings a smile to my face and tranquility to my soul. I heard just now that Peter is gone. His life was marred by the sins of his youth. Now he can rest in peace.

God how i muss Peter, Paul and Mary ansd the folk scene - so honest, so naive, so hopeful. It's gone but it's still rattling your windors and shaking your doors - louder this time around and will get even laouder until the4 times do change.

Thank you Robert after hearing of peter's passing today I just wanted to listen to the trio that I started singing the songs 60 years ago I hear today. I'll be singing one of the songs I learned long ago for an audition. I loved PP&M from the beginning. RIP Peter Yarrow.
