Thanks for the vid, I just bought a raiders one off eBay and paid a pretty penny. I thought I got scammed since the tag wasn’t blue on mine and the material doesn’t look as heavy as that kings one. But looking at the pictures mine has an nfl patch on the side, starter on the back, and tm on the front and back. Also was from Taiwan instead of china. Might’ve bought one that was in between. I think the difference might be proline starter instead of just starter. There’s probably a ton of different runs out there

If I sent someone pictures of mine would they be able to tell me if it’s vintage, new school, or maybe even fake. My dad got it for me for Christmas from eBay and it was certainly not cheap. It looks a lot more like the vintage jacket in this video but doesn’t have things like the starter logo on the back. The material is definitely not like the new school one in the video though. So I’m kind of between vintage or faked and I don’t know how the quality of faked starter is but my jacket doesn’t feel cheap

Nice. I’m not crazy about vulc sole shoes for skating, but I got some ‘92 skate halfcabs in taupe and really like them. Probably not gonna skate them, rather keep them fresh for a bit. They use to make a really nice cupsole around ‘96, was on the trench, drool, dna models and probably others. The wafflecup sole is nice, like on the wayvees and bmx models

I just wish i knew of a modern company that makes snaps that fit like sports specialties. Mitchell and ness... new era... they don't fit or look like the way snapbacks from the 80s or 90s do. Does anyone know of a company that makes snapbacks today that fit/look like ones from the 90s? Because i swear i can't find any. And I've spent hundreds on sports specialties hats just for the fit. Especially the twill ones.

I bought a new satin jacket on clearance this spring. I'm happy with it. But I noticed some shortcuts Starter took with the replications when looking at the original on eBay. First, the logo is facing the wrong way. Second, the logo isn't even a full patch emblem. Just the outline is embroidered since the rest of the logo is the same color as the jacket color. And the inside tagging and color is different, which doesn't bother me. The original even had a designated spot on the tag to write your name in case you lost it. So I like that Starter made these again. But the originals were definitely made better with fully embroidered logos.
