Just found this video. Great to watch. I played Stewart Creek about 20 years ago when the 9th was a par 4, hit a 4 iron off the tee, had a blind second shot with a 6 iron and holed out for 2. A wonky hole, as the pro said, but a great memory for me.

BOTH SILVER TIP AND STEWART CREEK ARE 9 OUT OF 10 GREAT GOLF COURSES. SILVER TIP HAS BETTER VIEWS , STEWART CREEK GOLF COURSE CONDITIONS SLIGHTLY BETTER. SC IS $240 DAY IN SUMMER , SILVER TIP IS $115 FOR DAY SUMMER IF YOU ARE A CANMORE OR BOW VALLEY RESIDENT PRICE DROPS TO $95 FOR DAY SUMMER. IS SC BETTER THAN SILVER TIP YES SLIGHTLY IS IT WORTH TWICE THE PRICE ABSOLUTELY NOT . SILVER TIP IS A FABULOUS DEAL FOR A 9 OUT OF 10 COURSE FOR $115 . STEWART CREEK COULD EASILY DROP PRICE TO $175 THEN IT WOULD BE THE BETTER DEAL.

I made hole 12 in 2. the back pin on the long green plus the fact that i was on the front led to a 3 putt par.

do you look at the hole when you putt? I have been trying that on my lagg putts recently for better distance control, but how do you do it for short putts? How do you hit your first line without looking? Thanks
@BeattheCourseGolfChannel5 ай бұрын
@@alexiaclaudio5574 I used to but have since switched back to looking at the ball. It works reallly well for lag putt distance control. I now putt to a spot on the green <2 feet from my ball based on my read.

Love these videos - gives me an idea of what to expect on courses I've never played before. The one on Sandpiper really helped me for sure! Its possible if the flag was out on the last hole, it mighta dropped - you never know... lol. I heard this course is pretty hard; from watching this video, I don't know if I'd be willing to tackle it with a bunch of other 100+ shooters! haha

Not being a jerk but honestly, stop buying drivers and spend the money on some lessons. Your swing is producing a two way miss and you can't create anything of value in a driver review video when you can't swing the club consistently enough to give a fair evaluation on the performance of the club.

Silvertip is the ultimate mountain golf experience! What beautiful scenery. The greens have some nasty movement to them. My ball striking was super, my putting on these greens was not good, WAY to many 3 putts. Still a fantastic course!

@roytoubassi3059 As I indicated Silvertip is the ultimate mountain golf experience! Greens very challenging! Shooting a score won't be easy! Very scenic Stewart Creek is awesome as well! A little more user friendly. Scenic as well. Kananaskis has two great courses! Again quite scenic as well. Maybe not the up down layout like Silvertip. A must play in the Csnmore area BTW how many rounds do you intend to play? That might help me narrow it down for you!

Just received my 311 GEN 5 driver but first I had a fitting at the local PXG store and applied that fitting charge to the purchase. I highly recommend it. The Gen 5 driver is US$199 through December 2023. Anxious to get out there this week to hit it. It’s replacing a TM Burner - yes, it’s been overdue.
