i dont understand how teakwondo evolved to a martial art that is one of the most unusable martial arts in real fights. imagine if punches to the face would be allowed...some one is hopping on one leg in a straight line towards you. one cross and that guy would be done. the coordination and balance of taekwondo fighters is often impressive but i dont see a point in that when it is not practical to use.

Lyoto Machida is the son of Yoshizo Machida, a karate master. Lyoto Machida was an MMA fighter with a strong Karate background. NOT TAEKWONDO. so if you want to claim the front kick, that is used in many martial arts, then at least show a taekwondo fighter. thx

@@4fr345 "that is used in many martial arts" taht is what i said....i just think that if they name the video "Taekwondo Front Kick" then they should use footage of a taekwondo fighter.

Lyoto Machida is a karateka but the kick is pretty much the same (you can see lyoto using his hands to keep the opponent busy before the kick)

How to attack if the opponent almost always has a knee up? (I'm a beginner in sparring).
@DwayneMontero6 күн бұрын
Use footwork, Round house kick, spinning hook kick, and simple side kick or front kick (try to side kick his kidneys when he lifts his knee up) also never do a 45 because you'll probably break your foot or shin.

Sports Tae Kwon do is killing self defense Tae Kwon do badly, like what is this? You practice this for sport over a long period, and you'll find yourself doing it in self defense. Old school tkd rocked
