GT was way better imo. OG Dragon Ball and Z are the best, but GT felt like it wanted to expand on the ideas and progress the characters from Z. SSJ4 being similar to SSJ3's anime transformation is a really cool connection. The dragon balls with Shenron being the ultimate villain was a great end as well. Super just felt like continuing the series to continue it and no other reason.

I know this is a relatively older video but I thought it would give my thoughts on it first off I am an OG fan of Dragon Ball who grew up watching it in the 90s and in the early 2000s and some of these fans in the Dragon Ball community are such hypocrites when Dragon Ball GT reverted just Goku back to a kid they flipped out and hated GT for it so now all of a sudden they think that Goku and the cast being reverted back to a kid is the greatest thing since sliced bread BS I thought that GT really wasn't all that bad because they maintain Goku's overall fighting experience so you could tell it was the same Goku that was in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z he didn't fall for dumb Bs like Dragon Ball super Goku did and the fact that GT had adult Trunks and Goten and didn't have them wearing tights and did not have them dress up like Gohan did isn't that stupid outfit. GT gave Goten and Trunks personality trunks took over capsule Corp and Goten went off doing his own thing in the ending of Dragon Ball GT was beautiful so I don't necessarily consider GT to be the dumpster fire that some fans think it is and the fact that Vegeta's growth in GT was off the charts because he let go of that chip on his shoulder it became relaxed and calm and even bring up Fusion with Goku using the Fusion Dance which was something that he never would have done in the past because he was too Pride driven.

Here's my thoughts on this Dragon Ball super it's not part of the original continuity it's its own thing and there's too much that goes against it being anything part of the original. So the only thing that was destroyed was Future Trunks of Dragon Ball super not the original Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. The Dragon Ball super to me had some good Concepts but that was about all everything else was carved up into the propeller blades as far as I'm concerned. But as far as GT Goku is concerned understand this they did not Nerf GT Goku's power when he was reverted back to a kid he was still destroying universes is shaking all of hell and heaven itself it was just the fact that he couldn't hold Super Saiyan 3 very long due to having a smaller body but if you think about it Super Saiyan 3 is it difficult for me even for an adult Goku. But wants Goku got his tail pulled back out all those issues went away and Goku in GT was truly a juggernaut in GT. It was the Goku in Dragon Ball super that had his power nerfed there was no way that beerus is power should have been that much stronger than Goku's right after the Kid Buu fight because Kid Buu Supreme Kai clearly stated was the strongest force of evil in the universe who butchered up Mortals in God's alike which is another reason why a Dragon Ball super does not belong in the original continuity because beerus would have had to destroyed him but putting that aside Goku destroyed Kid Buu with the Spirit Bomb. So it was absolutely dumb writing to say that Goku is so much weaker than beerus right out of the gate I mean a Super Saiyan 2 Goku should have been giving beerus all the fight he ever wanted or have at least pushed beerus do you have used 60% of his power. But yes Dragon Ball super is absolute garbage is that only a garbage as far as writing but it's also garbage when it comes to character development and the art style. But those are about my thoughts on this.

Which is one of the reasons why I like your KZbin channel you never sold out like some KZbinrs I mean Dragon Ball GT some fans like to think of it as Kryptonite but super is the true Kryptonite that sunk Dragon Ball but before this gets too long I'll put it simply I think Dragon Ball was pretty much dead after GT ended then we got Dragon Ball Z abridged which was fan made but I think it's where all this junk got started then it just seemed to me like Dragon Ball super was just a continuation of Team Four Stars Dragon Ball Z abridged. But keep up the great work on your KZbin channel it is greatly appreciated.

Nah I disagree. His speech just summarized what we already do knew about Goku since the beginning. It’s why I hated Vegeta after the Namek arc. Fool is responsible for ruining the series.

We knew about goku already but vegeta didn't. He came from a terrible background. We followed goku through his whole childhood . But vegeta lived a mich different life. Goku was surrounded by all his friends and loved ones. Meanwhile vegeta was forced to do freizas bidding because freiza threatened to kill his father if he didn't then he killed him anyway. He spent his whole life plotting for revenge to overthrow freiza. That's why he wanted to become mortal. Vegeta really thought goku was mocking him and stealing his honor through the series but he realized that goku just wanted a good fight . Lol that was his only motivation. Honor and pride was everything to vegeta but to goku it was just another chance to test his own limits. He didn't care if vegeta was stronger or not. But when goku was stronger than him it shattered his whole pride. Lol and I would have to disagree with vegeta ruining the series part lol but he was used as a plot device on many occasions.

@@AnimeNerd1988 Not a good argument my friend. The series was ending and Toriyama decided to end it with Vegeta commenting on Goku’s character, which was already well known to the audience. Left a bad taste for everyone who wanted the series to end at Namek. And ignoring the Super continuity. Vegeta was already a killer having come from a blood thirsty race the Saiyans. Heck, Goku and Frieza even had a conversation about it on Namek. Vegeta himself said he didn’t care about his race. What gave you this headcanon thought, that he cared about his dad? And another thing Frieza never threatened to kill the king to get Vegeta to bend to his commands. That’s completely made up. Vegeta’s problem was his obsession with winning and not owning up to murdering innocent life forms. You can’t justify his actions. You and I know the Buu saga had undergone last minute changes. I’m sorry my friend but If it’s better you get my reproof so that you may better understand what the series used to be.
