This is not a safety issue. People fly flags on vehicles all the time and have zero safety issues with it. This is only done because some administrators think that flying certain flags on vehicles is racist.

Its not got anything to do with racism. Its a long standing school policy at edmond north. Not to have flags attached to your car for the sake of safety and visibility. Also check out tinker vs des Moines 1969.

Instead of just saying “it’s against policy” the school district could have made it clear as to *why* it was against policy. People wouldn’t be as outraged if it became a safety issue, or if the policy came about to prevent flags or banners showing horrible messages. There’s probably a good reason why flags are banned, but if you don’t tell the public why then of course they are going to get angry.

But it's OK for foreign country flags and or PRIDE flags to be flown??? This country is losing it. TRUMP 2024!!!

I taught in public education for 26 years and grew up in Oklahoma but learned most school admin is leftist. I live in Texas now and know if you tell people in Oklahoma and Texas that they cannot show they love America you have crossed the Red line. We love our country and go to church. Wait and see if Harris is elected they will ban patriotic gatherings, displays of American flags (but gay pride flags or Hamas flags will be OK), and free display of praying in public will be banned. Vote Trump to save the USA.
