Who wasted their cash converting that thing to a 60 series? The last one I worked on was on tracks and that was around 2008 or 2009.

@@delbertdoerksen2226 this one is I Thorne bay Alaska, no gravel mining here. solid rock, lots of trees, muskeg mud and saltwater. :)

@@isaac3175 Nice, we are based in Manitoba. We got 2 of these old girls mining gravel. Like them a lot more then saurmans. If shipping was not so expensive, we would probably buy this old girl

@Jdigger4130 I'm guessing 90ft tube. It was running not that long ago.

I operate one of these at a lumber mill in Oregon, feeding uncut logs into the mill. Worked fine for the first four years or so and now we are having issues with it. Has this one been fairly reliable?

So far I think, it's been traded off for a newer dx300 Shovel If I remember correctly.

I've worked chasing landing under a 1972 model off and on for the last 8 years. (I usually run skidder on our cat side) Ours has a different boom that they use for yarding. They used to have a similar boom to this one on it before 2015.

@@isaac3175 thanks! We only use it to pull out firewood for our own use. It’s mostly a hobby really, probably only gets used 24 hours a year😅 It’s way higher ground clearance than the 440’s and TJ’s, so it rides over stones and stumps real easy and it only weighs 5.6 tons;)
