I understand that before Iran revolution people bleed themselves from these swords but now due to restrictions from government they are just moving swords not bleeding themselves with sword. Am I right?

Yes, you are correct. Before the Iranian Revolution, swords were more common, but due to government restrictions, participants now often move the swords without causing actual bleeding. This change is a result of efforts to reduce the more extreme forms of self-harm during religious rituals. But in some places, we have that tradition, but because of the push of government, they do in private home with out any camera 📷
