How’s your electric shift in water have you had any problems or anything?
@kanedardar1668 Жыл бұрын
No no problem if any it usually acts up when i first start it or if its cold. Usually just the - and cant find the gears just gotta shake it back and forth till it clicks back in but no problem under water. Just note that it only shifts at specific rpm so unless it runs under water be careful going into reverse

That quad was not shifting just fine at all…if that quad has electric shift and automatic and you where shifting must be a beginner an rider..if it was in fully automatic mode then the quad needs to be built to ride that size tire better..I’ve Ben riding off road atv all my life I’ve owned countless Honda’s all sizes Yamaha big bears and many bigger bore Polaris in deep water mud and sand trails and build all my quads i have 3 currently my smaller bike is a big bear 400 that I mostly use to beat up sink and park I’ve ridden long water trails with it up to the handle bars on it often..it’s a 2000 Ive personal had it for 8 years and sink it atleast once a week I haven’t put any money into in those 8 years witch I attribute to not letting it build rpm that high before shifting my last 420 rancher was automatic with electric shift the trans was rebuilt cost 1700 dollars and went back out a few years later from someone riding it and shifting to high and smoking the transmission there not sheep plus your beating the crap out of that motor building high rpm keeping the motor very hot inbetween each time you take it swimming that’s the recipe of a destroyed worn out quad..if it’s doing that on it’s own you need to either fix it are go down on tire size tell it isn’t so bad that it ends up being a problem…but either way weather it’s you are the quad that trans still isn’t the same as a manual shifts Honda is can’t handle the same stuff a M shift can..

Well i aint no beginner iv been in the game since 7 years old. And obviously i couldnt care less about the bike if you havent watched my videos 😂 ive been beating the shit out of it for 2 year now and never misses a lick she stays rev boomed in 5th gear going down trails for 10 minutes at a time. Them clutches can slipp all they want she still dippin. And the automatic donts work when you have gear reductions and it spins my 33” bkt with no hesitation my friend. Bikes been screamin since i had it nothing wrong with it.

Have you ever had any problems with your E shift on the Honda? If so what did you do to prevent it from happening again?
@kanedardar16682 жыл бұрын
Yah always got problems with it. Never the shift module but mainly the shift motor. The module just gotta open it up and fill it with dielectric grease. And van really so anything about the shift motor. I usually just rock the bike side to side and just turn the key on and off until it finds the gears again. Dont happen to often but when it does thats what i do

@@natestidham311 well if you Have a dct like i do then Your best bet is to get the biggest primary they make which i think is the 42% otherwise theres no point in getting one. The dtc is geared stupid low and will always struggle spinning huge tires. Its the down fall of it. And you will lose the automatic aspect if you havent already. I know a guy that have both reductions and portals and still will struggle to spin 35” bkts.

I have had mine replaced once but the issue was unsolved. Doesn’t matter you will always have an issue with it. Crack the es module open and fill it with dielectric grease.
