It reminds of Richard Strauss. It is a big step from rustic Verdi towards postromanticism.

Absolutely, I think Puccini is peak romanticism tbh. You could almost say Rachmaninoff is his successor, same sort of musical trajectory

Wow this is fantastic!! This is one of my all time favorite scores, truly cinematic beautiful. Would you be able to share the midi file for this? I’ve been trying to find a score or analysis of it online to see some of the chords and orchestration. Your work is really great, I’d be incredibly appreciative, thanks!

the cues in this track are bad It is not always clear and sometimes it feels like an extra beat is added
@mocmus

Sorry, yes, the reason for the extra beats is because the original song has them. We are used to taking them out nowadays.

I’ll finish it in time. I wanted to see if the first Act was getting any attention before going further. For Verdi I’ve done the complete Aida and Rigoletto. Right now I’m working on finishing Act II of Siegfried. When I finish that I’ll take a breather from Wagner and go back to Verdi.

Why did u decide to mix just SStS plus BBC? Did U use studio strings instead of BBC strings? or perhaps mix them together
@alanarmstrong6340
@alanarmstrong6340 Жыл бұрын
It’s been awhile since I did this but I believe I used studio strings only with the brass etc. From BBCSO. The reason being at the time I liked the expressivity of SSS better than BBC. I liked the tone quality of SSS better. I’m a string player.
