What's the material of the round piece you pour the wax onto? Just like a metal coaster, or ?? How long do you leave the stamp sitting in the wax before you lift it up? Thanks.

A bit late, but it looks like granite. Alternatively, you can use a tile coated with vegetable oil so the wax doesn't bind to it and make a mess of things. Wax cools quickly as well, so a minute or two will be enough (might be even shorter, depending on how thick/thin you lay it on) - don't slam the seal stamp down or jam it on the wax, your not hammering a nail. Be gentle but firm when you apply and lift it. Hope this helps!
