I remember being angry at and hating Jason X when it came out because I wanted Freddy vs Jason. And I loved it. Now every time I watch them I enjoy Jason X a little more and Freddy vs Jason a little less. Freddy only kills one person. I'm a huge Freddy fan, the friend I saw it with was a Jason fan. We made a $10 bet over who would have the most kills on our way to the theatre. I handed him $10 during the cornfield rave scene 😂

The remake was 5 times better than anything that Don Mancini has written, produced and directed in his career.

Try to get to 100! Solid collection btw, Switch is such a gem and it will guaranteed be backwards compatible. Dragon quest 11 and Ys 8-10 grab em! Ten is out in 2 months. Also if you like Tactical games grab Advance Wars has 1 and 2, Ogre Tactics Reborn and Triangle Strategy they are incredible games.

I buy a new iPhone outright every 3 years and then sell the old one for at least half the original price. I don’t think I could sell a game console for that return. For 700$ I’d want that console to have at least a 10 year lifespan but I don’t think that’s reasonable

Gamers have gotten spoiled over the years, and as result, they now feel entitled to unreasonably low priced consoles. The games systems are sophisticated home entertainment systems as well, and they cost extraordinary amounts of money to develop. I believe modern consoles are incredibly inexpensive. Even the Xbox 360 and PS3 were under priced by at less 50%. At present the only console I have a 3DS, and it is incredible value for money considering the wide variety of ROMS, and independent software that are available for it. The current consoles will eventually become open to independent software especially taking into account the EU stance of proprietary software ecosystems. People spend $1000 on phones that we all know are overpriced when considering their longevity compared to consoles.

Americans complain about a game system costing 700 and buy IPhone every year.

Nintendo set this terrible standard. Releasing the switch overpriced, and increasing the price of the oled for basically no upgrade. Its a shame what Nintendo has done to the market.

Astrid’s plot should have been the plot. Cut the stuff with Lydia’s boyfriend. Cut Monica Bellucci and Willem DeFoe’s wasted characters. Just focus on Astrid’s plot line because that was the most compelling.

I cut the H4 mask some slack because he grabbed it off a rack in a cheap halloween store, and you couldnt see the eyes which is the most important part of the mask imo...

Keep up the great reviews! Please review the Stepfather movies asap. The first two movies are awesome and Terry O Quinn gives a stunning performance in the lead role. I didn't bother with the third movie because needless to say Terry O Quinn doesnt come back as the lead and I enjoyed the remake but nothing will ever top the first two movies.

All 7 Childs Play/Chucky movies are great including the 2019 remake and I own all of them. I also love the Chucky TV show and I own the first two seasons on dvd. The third season hasnt been released on dvd yet but I will be sure to pick it up or order it online when its available and as of right now I just watch it on the syfy app either on my phone or my tv. Pretty cool how Devon Sawa portays different characters throughout the show. I've always enjoyed Devon Sawa ever since he was a kid back in the 90s starring in movies like Little Giants and he also played the human version of Casper in the 1995 movie Casper. Final Destination is one of his best as the main character.

watched it today since it dropped on Max …. what a step down from Fury Road - I can see why it tanked in theaters. Should have been 90 mins the runtime was too long and as for a prequel it totally missed the story that it should have told - hear me out Furiosa’s origin story should have been all about her rising up the ranks as a driver and having empathy for the Joe wives enough to risk her life to free them.

First time I have heard someone say they like the 2019 movie let alone name it their fave of the bunch.

Haven’t seen the movie yet. When the trailer was released I was excited because creepy characters are really my jam in horror/psycho thrillers. But from the sounds of it, the setting and all its elements kind of becomes a character. Which as man in his thirties who doesn’t have kids, isn’t super relatable. Meaning the pop concert aesthetic and the pop artist being a badass doesn’t really do much for me. If this guy is outsmarted by a pop artist, then it kind of makes him lose credibility. And his intelligence is what makes him scary.

I've honestly never seen Tom Hanks on SNL. Some people might have mistaked him for Bill Murray because I know he definitely worked on SNL and Hanks actually turned down the role of Phil Connors in Groundhog Day before it eventually went to Murray.

Great classic movie! I was born in 1989 and what a spectacular year for movies like Major League,Batman,and Ghostbusters 2 just to name a few. Art played by Rick Ducummon RIP is actually my favorite character in the movie and funniest IMO. He's actually more the main character than Tom Hanks in alot of ways. I love the part when they're arguing about who should go up and say hello to the klopecks and they agree to both go together and Art steps in a weak spot in the deck floor and gets his foot caught LMAO!! It also happens again later in the movie but it instead happens to Bruce Dern who plays Mr. Brumfield. "There go the goddamn Brownies." LMAO!!

I'm a huge Mk fan and love most of the mk games including mk11. I love the fact that we got the 1995 movie versions of Shang Tsung,Johnny Cage,Sonya Blade,and Rayden with the originals actors back voicing their respective roles. Some of my negatives are that we didn't get Bruce Campbells Ash Williams character from Evil Dead in the game which was the original plan prior to getting Joker instead. I didn't mind Joker being in the game but most my hopes were riding on the Ash Williams road than the Joker road. Also Terminator is awesome in the game and the likeness of an older Arnold is very cool but we didn't get Arnold back to voice the character. We did get Rambo and Robocop in the game and we atleast got Stallone back to voice Rambo and Peter Weller back to voice Robocop so I'm totally grateful for that.

Nice controller, although I have to disagree with you on one thing, AA batteries (in the long term) are MUCH better than a built in rechargeable batteries like what the PS5 has. An inevitable fact of using rechargeable devices is that eventually they will stop holding a charge like they used to, leaving you with only two options. Either (A) Hope you have the skills and resources to fix the device in question or (B) throw it out entirely and fork up the cash for a new one. At least with Xbox controllers you don't really have to worry abut longevity.

Oh go ahead, hate on it! Great staging, costumes, and good steampunk space ships. The problem was the incredibly bad storyline. They introduced some wonderful characters and then killed them off. We started feeling angry with the writers. We started dreading what would come next. Like you, we've hung in there, watched every episode, getting more and more frustrated and disinterested.

I said 2 out of 10. The light saber fights were the best part. Why were these characters so flat? If you compared the star power of andor and Mando to this show, it's not even close. Taika was more dynamic a character as a robot that only follows programming than anything we saw in this show. Wanted to like it, like the high Republic vibes, but blahh

tapped out on Star Wars after Mando season 2 but the reviews for this series has been entertaining - maybe they intended to make a meme-filled show? 😂
