Oh my goodness, how terribly sad. So sorry for the loss of your family member. That is very young for him to pass. What happened? Was it something, that if shared, could help other dog owners to know? I hope Bentley is somewhere wonderful now, as it was with you 😢
@BackHomeWithUsАй бұрын
He was way too young. It was so shocking we thought he had a bad tooth as he wasn't eating. We immediately got him into the vet (the next day). The vet said he had MMM (Masticatory Muscle Myositis) which was common in small dogs with small mouths. That we caught it in time, and he would be fine. However, within two days he had his third eye bulging out, severe pain and ended up at the Pet ER at that point we now believe it was a brain tumor that moved very quickly. The tumor ended up closing both of his eyes. So, one week and two days from the time I thought he had a bad tooth we had to say goodbye. We are still in shock and totally heartbroken. The vets and us were helpless on how fast everything changed. Maybe one day our hearts will heal from this but not today. Our home will simply NEVER be the same.

Hope you can answer this. I’ve been to the bridge years ago. Do you know how to know if you have a clear path across and not meet someone as you cross.
@BackHomeWithUsАй бұрын
You can actually see from one end of the bridge to the other. People treat it almost like an unofficial 4 way stop every other car goes. When I cross, I turn on my headlights as well. I know some people actually honk their horn. But you can actually see all the way down, but it is FAR.

@@BackHomeWithUs I am not sure if there are any historical record(s) in which to reference. I will say for the record, the name Purple Head denotes a ghost story regarding the horrible fate of a preacher riding the train and falling from the mail car resulting in himse;f being beheaded while in transit across the bridge circa late 1800s. The woman whom has cut my hair for the last 14 years is from Knox County and she as other locals referred to the bridge as Purple Head. I diegress andmust slumber. There was an old iron truss bridge (one lane) about nine miles away from me that had to be crossed every Sunday morning to get to church. It was replaced about 30 or 40 years ago with a modern concrete slab bridge. The old bridge had a wood and tie deck like this. I know that sound well. Also near chester Il. There is a covered bridge that is still standing that is in dier need of a refurb. The state is waiting for the local community to come up with the funds. It may fall down before that happens unless someone with a big heart and deep pockets helps out.

I noticed you have stumps everywhere and you use your tractor in between them. You should cut a cross X in the smaller stumps and 8 cuts into the bigger stumps as deep as your chainsaw blade allows you to. If you knock one of them by accident then no damage will come to your tractor and it allows the decomposing of the stumps to happen quicker. Maybe try it and do a video. Thanks
