I have a older Amana two door you can unplug it and wait for 5 mins and plug it back in and it will run and cool for one cycle but it does not come back on. Can you please help me Thanks Roland It will run about hr or more the freezer works too just dont come back on with out unplug it

I would absolutely clean the heating element before putting in place by dropping it in vinegar and wait to disolve (react). Well now its time to see why my washing mashine drum doenst turn. 🙂 It seemed that n my case drum turn manually, but the engine doesnt turn the drum. Belt was poped out, put in place everything ok now.

Another secret. Not really. I suggest installing an NE-2 neon bulb across the secondary of the 24 volt transformer before the bridge or full wave rectifier. That way any spikes from the line will be damped by the neon bulb. Some Nordyne HVAC boards have that space on the board already but no bulb or other voltage spike arrester is installed.
