These are absolutely amazing! I’ve actually never seen a video of a Vector that was this posh/in this good shape. Really really great elevator system. Also, Happy Thanksgiving! Just wanted to thank you again for being a huge inspiration for me to check out more places and film more elevators (I actually went from filming less than 100 elevators in 2023 to over 400 so far in 2024 which is kind of an improvement!).

That motor is so satisfying! Despite the worn cosmetic condition of this thing (what can you expect from a transit elevator), that motor really makes this all the more epic.

I've never had any kind of fear of elevators or gotten stuck in one, but most of these noises the ones on this video are making, they just crack me up and it literally makes me think of these two Thyssenkrupp hydraulic elevators at this health care clinic I go to and I noticed that when I get in one to go back down to the first floor, this elevator stops kind of hard and makes a creaking squealing sound and I laugh every time I hear it and there's always this strong pungent smell every time I go in there does anyone know what that is????? The elevators in this building are pretty old but I never heard about or experienced any of them breaking down or getting stuck.

These are definitely the best installations on campus. Visually appealing design, custom, not Innovated. I love the glass hoistway doors! Having the directional lantern mounted on to the car itself is also a very interesting feature and means that they don't have to waste space on the awesome hoistway design.

Glad they repaired this instead of letting Schindler or someone else mod it. This thing runs pretty amazing tbh. That Schindler chime was kinda off putting though considering that also comes from an elevator model with white square indented buttons 💀
