I have a 1993 40th in white pretty much stock with 2 k&n filters, air foil holly pump. The problem I am getting is: I feel like the car is not getting enough fuel because I don’t like to push the pedal to the metal. I was thinking of upgrading my injectors to achieve maximum power without pushing the gas pedal all the way down! Will bigger injectors letv me feel the power better? If you know what I mean.

do 24-27lbs injectors with holly fuel pump make a c4 just more responsive? I have a 1993 c4

Yes, the Concours was the first Asian sport touring bike on the market. A few years later, Honda came out with the ST series. Norton's are intriguing. A trike might be in my future if my age/body relegates me to having one. Don't ever get old - it's overrated ha!

@@tombair1401 yes but from what I've heard they are just rebranding some of the cheap Chinese kits out there. I'll definitely try them next time around and see how it is

Maybe fuel injection would be practical if you could 3d print bike-specific nozzle-ready manifolds that go airbox-to-head, then add a 'generic' FI kit with pump, lines, nozzles, sensors, ecu, etc. Software for FI, CAD, and 3d modeling is getting better and less expensive. Maybe better software will save vintage bikes.

Hey J it's JP from Peoria. Indeed lots of aftermarket vintage bike suppliers are closing up shop for various reasons. Sumo Rubber in the UK closed up shop not too long ago. They were my supplier for aftermarket OEM spec intake boots, airbox gaskets, exhaust pipe joints and other rubber parts for my RDs and DTs. Truly sad to hear about Sudco closing, but Keyster carb rebuild kits aren't too bad if you're in a pinch. I had full Powerdynamo electric ignitions installed on the RDs. Bought them from Economy Cycle down in your neck of the woods. Wow, what a solid reliable choice (so far). The points were too fussy and got out of adjustment which got old. Now I have a much better spark and a lot cleaner burn on the RDs using the Powerdynamos. Still use the original point systems on my Suzuki GTs as they seem to work and stay in adjustment much better. Had the GT185 motor rebuilt, and the GT550 is humming along well. I'm like you. The more I "don't use something," the more thought I have of selling it to someone who will use it. I'm less inclined to keep nice pieces in the dark just gathering dust for nobody to see and enjoy. Best wishes to you always. You're restoration results are always off the hook and next level!

@@bluoval3481 good info. Yes I have bought from Economy Cycle...good outfit....the other company I was trying to think of that closed was Airtech Streamlining.... That's another big hit. In fact two of the panels on my GSXR 1100 are from them....
