It's nice to see how they all turned out! The sugar quills are really pretty - I like how you can see the texture of the feathers. Much respect to you and Matt for finishing all of them. They are definitely small, fiddly, and time-consuming! (But very cute) I agree that the cauldron cakes were disappointing. I think the little cakes and cauldrons were cuter before decorating them! In addition to not curing very well, I think they could have picked better colors than yellow and orange for the icing and sprinkles. Thank you for inviting me to build these with you and be a part of the experience 💗

Nah, the UV light had no trouble. The only issue was with the cauldron cakes where the sprinkles covered the resin. I recommend that light. 😃

Aspects of these appeal to me so much! I have heard they've been banned in my part of the world. I almost bought some when I was visiting Australia and felt like a smuggler at the prospect 😂 The interactivity, the cuteness of miniature things, the themes that they've created around so far (potions and magical sweets)- all of that is so attractive to my sensibilities. The prices I've seen, though. Ouch. I mean, I think they are better where you are. Maybe if I can find them on sale (assuming the ban rumour is untrue), I will give them a go! I haven't made it to the end of the video, but do you think they're worth the price? Also, happy weekend, lovely you! 🖤✨

It is a shien product but even still that’s not good enough but because it wasn’t as advertised you are legally entitled to a refund and they have refunded others who have noticed the same thing

@@laurawilson9235 Luckily (or maybe not luck but sheer determination 😆), and I shared in the Discord group, but after A LOT of back and forth, I insisted upon and eventually received a full refund. 😃 They also later acknowledged to me that they changed the website to having it not marked as vegan, after receiving my comment to them. So on the plus side, we can make change together. ❤️

I'm from England and many moons ago was taught in my Textiles class in school that Pantaloons were originally made of two separate pieces of cloth, one for each leg, which were put on one leg at a time and then tied around the waist thereby creating a pair of pantaloons. As we have become far too boring with our vocabulary to use a word like pantaloons the phrase has just been shortened to a pair of pants.

I have had trouble finding inspiration, even on pinterest so I am looking forward to seeing your ideas. I love your channel! My budget for this project is tight. I live in Finland and everything here is expensive, so I am trying to use items I already have, thrift store finds and DIYs. Luckily, I decorate my son's room every summer with a new theme (he currently has a LOTR room). He has had a Harry Potter theme twice. I have recycled that decor for Halloween and I will use some items for this project too. My color scheme is silver, jewel tones of green and accents of black and different vintage metals. I had a lot of leftover fake ivy from my son's LOTR room. I already added it it to ceilings/corners. Pro tip: use white poster putty and overlap the vines to make it look more realistic. I found a photography backdrop online that reminded me of what the lake might look like underwater. All of the Slytherin rooms I found online didn't have the underwater element of the Slytherin common room. I also ordered a color changing lightbulb so of course I add some green lighting. I can't wait to see your ideas! Happy decorating!

I’m the same height as you so it’s interesting to see the lengths on you. I loved the skirt and the culottes and the cathedral earrings. I might be tempted but I’m trying to save money 🤦♀️ I’ve never shopped at killstar but the backpack was fab and the purse (wallet?). Everything really suited you 💜

@ I love Foxblood; they’re women owned, based in LA, and super ethical. I’ve heard there’s controversy with Killstar 😕 I’ve bought some pants from Disturbia that I like but their return policy and sizing inconsistencies make me so anxious about placing orders!! Foxblood is very transparent and doesn’t alter clothes for modeling photos (it seems Disturbia will show pants as being more tailored on their models than they really are, etc). Foxblood also use models with more than one body type and different heights too!

That Earn Your Stripes backpack looks really sensible without being boring. I only have one proper usable backpack which is an old university backpack, it never occurred to me that Killstar have useful backpacks. Their Shadow Stealer backpack also look like one that has room for a lot of stuff, and it also have proper wide shoulder straps.

@@LoveLumos I just bought the dumbest backpack from Killstar, but I haven't been able to take my eyes of it since it's launch. You have it, it's the Doomrider backpack 🤪🐏 which will become a wall decoration filled with ignored jewellery. I really want the Amulet (beetle) backpack as well.

This video was so well done. It's hard to see how sad you were and to know that work hasn't gotten better. (I'm working backwards on your videos.) That breaks my heart. To hear how loneliness has been a big part of your life and to hear you say how Matt is your best friend...ah, the feels. If it wasn't for my husband I would be so alone. He is my best friend too. I hate to hear how lonely you are at work. You've spent so much time there and to go through all this and to work on your channel, I am so inspired by you. You should never have to mask yourself. I'm so grateful to have met you. 💞 Thank you, thank you, thank you, for seeing me, hearing me, and accepting me as I am. You are a big part of what has been a really hard time, in feeling so much less alone. 🫂 I don't think being a neurodivergent girl, helps in the connecting with people. I've spent years masking, years, and had no problem having work relationships. But the moment I made the cognizant choice to unmask, I faced resistance and still do, but I've only faced it in little pockets where different isn't okay, where not 'normal' (whatever that is) is cumbersome to another because it means seeing things differently by them. But if there's any silver light, this channel and being myself is what has made connecting easier. It's this weird phenomenon of when you are vulnerable, and being just who you are, you attract those who are similar and those who support who you are. It's easily (beyond Matt) the best decision I've ever made. But to play any role in bringing that light back in others: be it them realizing their difference is what is wonderful, believing in themselves, being more themselves, loving more of what they love ... it means the world to me. It gives me purpose. And most of all, real connection. I'm so so grateful for that connection with you, my friend. Thank you for all of your love and, as one might say, 'advocacy.' 😉 😄 I'd call it, seeing. 😊

I absolutely loved both MinaLima's interpretations of the books and Jim Kay's. I totally send Jim Kay nothing but the best and I hope his wellbeing continues to be his priority. 🤗He is a true talent and seems like a lovely man. MinaLima have helped create a world I love- and so many iconic visual representations of aspects of the stories. I am sad that neither series will continue with these artists at the helm, but they're so legendary and beloved now. Lovely video, lovely you! 🖤

Great video as always, it’ll be exciting to see you set up all these new spaces in your house. It’s my dream to have a whole house themed like you are planning so I’m just going to live through you doing it 😂😂 You could always swap the wand sets and put the DA set in the Gryffindor room and the Marauders set with the map - that would look cool in the hallway. It wasn’t me who sent you the carousel - you spotted it in a picture of my cat then someone else sent it you. I can’t remember now who it was, maybe they are watching this and can comment. I think it was Litjoy but I could be wrong! The new lipstick really suits you and I’m loving all the make up looks you are doing at the moment. I love all your art prints and I’m hoping to go to the Minalima shop soon so will maybe pick up a few prints for my house.
