I dont like the concept cuz it looks like it will not sell well cuz of the desing and theres already a official Portable wii u maded by Nintendo, it is called "Nintendo Switch" and it looks like your concept but Nintendo give it a a other desing to make it sell well yeah you need to insert a cartige instead of a wii u disc and it will play is own games and wii u games that are actually ports

Honestly I kinda like this concept more than the final design of the Switch. It would have been absolute hell to actually implement, but having built-in screen protection and a pocketable form factor à la the DS would have been pretty cool.

It's a good design. I think instead of the sides closing, they should instead come off of the screen becoming 2 different controllers, and instead of the plain old white like we're used to seeing, let's switch it up a bit and use maybe red and blue. With the concept of the system being it's own controller being able to switch to a mini portable system, I say let's call it the Switch. The Nintendo Switch.

I sadly don't think nintendo is ever going to realease a console both portable and T.V. mode, i think they will go on a totally different way. I hope it sells more than the wii u tho.

This is what the Switch would be if Iwata was still alive. Dare I say it’s UI and design looks better than the actual Switch. Not to mention you can see it actually has Virtual Console! I mean imagine if you could have backwards compatibility with Wii U games and Wii games! You wouldn’t have to spend $60 on a game you bought years ago. Remember Iwata was a gamer first and Furukawa is just a businessman first. I think it’s obvious who was a better person to lead Nintendo.

This will be announced E3 2016 and release November 2016. Can't wait!
