Come on brothers if you are Greek please keep tradition and chant ONLY in byzantine music .. how you can feel katanixis with classic music thirds and 5s ... In USA you have a very good byzantine music school at Boston.. sent your psaltes to learn to chant in the original orthodox Way.. I love you but can't stand hearing this and still manage to pray..it's like I'm at opera.. Have a blessed new year all. God be with you All

Beautiful voice and prayer.

As one born and raised into Roman Catholicism, attended catholic schools, was an altar boy for 6 years and always asking the priests … “hey…how come you can’t get married? If the 12 apostles were the original priests and they all had their families, why can’t you guys get married?” . Also would ask “So, all of a sudden a bishop becomes the pope and now he’s infallible?!!! No man is infallible!!! That doesn’t make sense!” And never getting a straight answer!!! Then seeing in later years all the child molesting scandals, as well as seeing how the Mass was transformed into a rock n roll party, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work abroad in Greece, Eastern Europe, and Israel…through sheer accident I decided to go mass at this local church in Mykonos where I saw for the first time what A REAL MASS should look like, feel like, smell like…I walked into my first Divine Liturgy!!! Ten years later, after much study I realized that the Catholics were the first Protestants, left the true original church in 1054, and I converted to Eastern Orthodoxy!!! The original Christian church! Unchanged Holy Tradition for the last 2000 years! As an American growing up in the west coast, i had no idea this church existed!!! I feel so blessed and lucky to have the one true original Orthodox Church!

Love this Sacred Altar Service. Inspirational to my spirit for the continuity of the faith. Very humbling. I have the dough press stamp and plan to make prosfero for the altar with my daughter and grandkids.

Thank you so much for bringing these Holy Services to us. That may sound weird, but we really do need these times to bring us closer to God and closer to each other, even if we have to stand further apart. Hopefully, by God's Grace, this virus will be stopped. Perhaps this is the time we need to pray for our enemies most of all, because they're angry and hot headed, and many people on social media are so negative and truly lost. Thank God that there's still hope. Some interactions I've already had with people have been so painful, because people really do not believe in God and only believe in themselves. It's so sad, too, because people are so dissatisfied with life and with what they only see as "reality." Please pray for strength for us all to live through this time with the hope and promise of the Holy Resurrection of Christ and that our resurrection will be unto Life Eternal with Him, as we look forward to celebrating the never-ending day. Glory to God for all things. If I may, I'd like to request that we read that Service during this time at some point, perhaps on the same day as the Annunciation. Would it be possible and appropriate? I'm speaking of the Akathist of Thanksgiving: Glory to God for all Things" by a Russian Priest. Again, thank you so very much for your efforts. We really appreciate it. There’s some really beautiful prayers in this liturgy.

this guy has a beautiful voice, some of the divine liturgies ive looked up were dissonant. not that it matters to the message but it sure affects the experience for the worshipers.

As a Catholic I believe the lord will bring us to a unity again one day.

This is a very uplifting, inspiring, and powerful Liturgy in every way-- the first reader read very clearly and you could hear the power of God reflected in the witness of his life; The priest's also, very powerful chanting and liturgical voice and commanding presence of Christ. The choir also was in keeping with this beauty and order. I think fair to say, among the best Greek Liturgies ever--

It's like i'm watching the Liturgy in my village.
