The first song sounds like Alice Coltrane making ambient music. Really great

Jazz I find is one of a few mediums of art that somehow taps into the collective social ambience of the time in which it was written. Nala has achieved it here with this body of work just like the greats of the past have in their time, Davis, Coltrane, Entroducing by Shadow; these artists are more like social commentators through their recordings and expressions of melodies. I find listening to their music allows me greater insight into the world and people’s consciousness. Thanks for this Nala, beautiful in its entirety and a truly fitting title for the album.

Nala Sinephro is a genius. Her works are a breath of fresh air in the modern music industry. Calming, joyful, experimental, emotional. She delivers it all!

I listened to this on drop during quarantine times, such a crazy experience looking back just smoking tree sitting on the back patio of an apartment complex. Thought it was freedom back than, really I was in my own comfort, a prison cell. Finally moving on set things right for me mentally. I now realize one of the few notions that got me through those years was the good music I found. I come back to this album nearly every month. Such a blessed gift.

Definitely a lot of Alice Coltrane influence in there, and not just the obvious (the harp). Enjoying this.
