Brother, I think you misunderstood. I’m not telling people to do what their earthly father is doing but clearly saying that we should imitate Jesus by doing what his (and our) Heavenly Father is doing. That’s something everyone should get behind!!💯💯🙌🙌

I got to see you in your first soli tour at lifestyles at night. I seen you on an off-stage trying out some new music. I didn't know it was you at first but was pulled in by the music. To topic off for me I got to sit by your parents that flew un from Toronto. I had a blast, and you can see I became a life long fan. Your parents bragged on you the whole time. It was awesome!!!!! I'm a couple hours from where you teach. Do you ever do concerts there at all? For the public? Good worship is good worship!

@@jeffdeyopodcast genuinely mean it. Never got the chance to see any of your shows but so nice to get to tell you something. Very grateful to God for your life. Was hoping another album would come out of yours one day, but probably sung your songs to God hundreds and hundreds of times. So grateful to still see you serving God over the years instead of falling away like some have done over the years. Saw you were doing something with a youth highschool band or something and awesome to see you creating something to help kids persevere in their dreams and goals with God!

I had the album, and loved singing along with you and praising our Savior Jesus Christ! We have lived thru a lot in 25 years, we are truly in the last days, living before our Savior Jesus returns. I pray for the many lost souls to come to know Jesus Christ , forgiven sin and to have the beautiful relationship with Him that He offers us. I remember seeing you at a AG youth winterfest as a teenager. Prior to that coming from a spanish church I hadn't experience whorship like that and it impacted me. I was just talking about you with my wife, and had to look you up. Happy to see your still working for the kingdom. A matter of fact, one of the most powerful moves of God I experienced while ministering was with your song Glory. Thats a moment I will never forget and you were apart of it. Thank You and God Bless!

When I say we need to make it easier for people to connect with God, that can easily be misunderstood.😅😅 What I’m not saying is that we need to be people pleasers rather than God pleasers. What I’m not saying is that we should work really hard to meet people where they are regarding style and musical preferences. What I’m not saying is that we should major on the minors, making sure we sing all the popular songs in all the right keys. What I am saying is that we want to do everything we can to facilitate a genuine relational connection between the people of God and their creator. Minus the barriers. Much of this has to do with flow and transitions and inviting people to become participants rather than spectators. Much of this has to do with carefully using technology as a servant to the musical worship rather than as a front seat driver. Jesus never focused on making people comfortable. Comfort is somewhat of an oxymoron in the Kingdom. Comfort should never be the goal in worship. (In fact, I would refrain from ever using that word in a worship service.) Obedience should be the goal, so removing barriers would include things like removing the performance atmosphere, practicing toward excellence so as not to be a distraction, teaching and encouraging biblical worship expression, etc. We all want the same thing, and there seem to be many different ways to go about it. But when it comes to musical worship, everything we need to know about God’s desires comes from his Word and from his Spirit.

Perfect timing- 2 strange things: 1)When this Short came on my feed, I was trying to understand a dream I had from years ago, and why I even remembered it. An asteroid had fallen next to me at night. Then this Short appears..."Break through the stars..." makes sense now. 2) I was also crying out to God to show me a sign that my Mom is ok. The enemy attacked me on all sides over the past year. The biggest of the attacks came to mind- My elderly mom taken deceptively from my home in August by narcissistic, opportunistic family members seeking to exploit her. No one believed me- Law enforcement blinded, judge blinded by the lies because "they're family", and those who know the truth too afraid to speak up because my family is vicious, but not more powerful than my God. I said: "Jesus, you know how Joseph and Mary felt you were missing from the caravan for kust a few days! Imagine me- since February since I've seen her- and that was in court- met with unjust ruling based on lies. It was like Twilight Zone- unreal. Definitely the work of a principality to blind so many people. Please Lord! I need a sign she's ok! And on her way back by miraculous means, out of the hands and environment of the wicked! I asked just for one sign she's ok, and I see this Short-this is what I needed to know He's close to me, and close to her. He's not to small that He can't care for us both while He enacts His justice behind the scenes. I trust Him as He sings to me through His Anointed Vessel~ Zephaniah 3v17. Thank you, Min. Jeff Deyo. By the way, Perfect loop-😊 I was able to memorize, sing along, harmonize, and most importantly internalize these Beautiful Possibilities of His Truth.
