@@AVeryMerryMeridian thank you!! It is definitely very well sequenced. Been trying to work on getting better video. I even got some drone footage this year, but something was wrong with the files and they were uneditable. Hopefully I’ll figure that out by next year.

@@elevenzeros probably because I don’t follow all the steps to make the KZbin algorithm gods happy, but it’s not really worth it because the music is copyrighted monetized. It’s just for fun.

@@adegraw Well, I have an idiot who not only puts on a light show but also advertises what he's doing across the state. We have people driving up and down the street every night to watch the light show. Meaning people parking in front of other people's homes all the time, blocking driveways. They throw out trash, to which the neighbor does clean the trash up. All I'm saying is if you are one of these light show nuts, you might be affecting your neighbors and they may not appreciate you as much as you think they are. During this time of year, I can't walk my dog because I'll be dodging traffic which is annoying as well.

Yes, last year we made the switch to Xlights, Although I still use a couple of the LOR AC controllers.

This year I only had about 4,000 pixels with 2 Pixie 16s (which was a bit overkill, but was planning to use them for future shows with more pixels), 1 Pixie 8, and 1 CMB24D. There was no need for power injection with this setup. In 2023 I switched to Xlights and got rid of the Pixie controllers, and instead used the Experience Lights Genius controllers and roughly 12,000 pixels, and did some power injection on a couple of the longer runs.

Yeah, would love to be able to crank up the house speakers like that. Drivers can tune in their radio though, so the sound is as good as their car stereo.

Although I would love to take credit for this, it is because this year I used professionally produced sequences. This is mainly due to using a whole new program this year which took all my time to learn the setup for the new controllers and prop builds and did not leave time to sequence the songs myself. For future years I think will continue to use professional sequences as it adds elements to the show that would not be there otherwise, but I will add in a few songs that are done myself as well. You can see who sequenced each song in the video description.
