I did this to my engine block as well, hung the block in a plastic 200ltr drum, a sacrificial anoide from rio bar, and washing powder, cleaned it perfect, machine shop was impressed 👌

I highly recommend this kit if you want to put a quick drop on the rear of your D-100. Pretty smooth installation and you still have some suspension travel when you're done! It drove great on the way back to Cam's. I love this truck more and more every day!

Yes indeed Awesome, can not wait to see more of the F-100
@kevinchura99139 күн бұрын
The lack of videos on the F-100 is definitely my fault. The trip to Davenport IA for the 1st annual Quad City Street Rod Nationals should include some videos of the F-100 and all the Hyndzyte rides!! Stay tuned!!!

Just curious, why drop the engine out instead of taking off the hood and raising It out???
@tedler200814 күн бұрын
Great job explaining all this. Thank you for doing the dial indicating procedure and showing this perfectly. For those watching, this is THE one step that must be done correctly. These Tremec's feature tighter tolerance machining than our older 833's, which can take .015 run out with ease.

I have a 70 d200 and it has power steering that was installed by the previous owner, it’s a power assist ram type. The ram was leaking so I had it rebuilt. I bled the system no bubbles no noice but steering is a little easier left but right is very hard. I have no idea what’s wrong. Do you have a link to the parts you bought?

Damn!! That thing looks amazing! Love the stance! Gonna be a great street car. Can't wait to catch a ride in it! The coolest thing, in my opinion, is that you will probably NEVER pull up next to another one at a show or cruise night!

Hella good job. Looks great. How did you keep the cap still when polishing?
@HyndzyteEngineering25 күн бұрын
I screwed two wood blocks to the MDF that were the inside diameter of the hubcap. At times the polisher would get the cap to spin a bit, but worked really well.

Thanks for the informative video, I own a 1968 Charger that we use in film to do stunts with. We keep blowing off belts either with the clutch fan or straight engine driven fan. This happens frequently when the director asks for the desired high RPM shifts! This is probably the best fix we could do. Definitely will keep a few spares too.

Nice truck but some serious rust that negates going the patina route in my opinion.

Good Morning, Guys! Why limit yourself to only 2 Tour vehicles? We have 3 that continuously fuss about going until we are back, THEN, they want to Cooperate!
@ccathey3934Ай бұрын
I am probably the only one in the group that has this opinion… and I struggle with it- so many good cars to choose from… hard to limit it. I’m over my limit now and struggling with it -my Roadrunner and the D100 are probably lifers and my Wagoneer is really cool… it would be even better with a late model hemi…. Sooooo many choices and so little time/money! Thanks for watching!

I think the theory behind the 2 car rule is you drive one and work on the other. If you have more than 2 you are possibly working on more than one "upgrade" at a time, splitting time and money.

The Ford gasser guys - to me they display the spirit of what HRPT is. These guys were great to talk to, had ZERO fear about driving this car from NY, AND had a sense of humor. TBH, when I first saw him in the lobby (he was wearing the helmet in the hotel) I thought he had lost a bet or was part of some first-timer rules from another group .. awesome to see someone driving a car that was not easy to be in... because they LOVE IT. HOPE TO SEE YOU GUYS NEXT YEAR!
