Show needs to be animated. High quality like Arcane, castlevania, etc. Easier to get actual characters to look like description, plus gore and sexuality have more give.

His passion about Greek history and mythology is truly admirable. As someone who has majored in history and archeology in Greece it is obvious that he knows exactly what he's talking about!!!!. Truly admirable 👏👏👏👏

Sometimes the extreme stuff is the draw. So far the only thing I have purchased from SBT is Kajiu: Battlefield Surgeon. That book is not ........... "right in the middle of the main stream" ...

The cast is so interesting and I think they'll do great! I love Dastmalchian and he'll make an interesting Gurathin. Series premiers on June 4th!

So many people recommended listening to Jeff's narration of this series that I am currently about 85% finished with the audiobook of Dungeon Crawler Carl, which is the first audiobook I've listened to since I used to get them on cassette to listen in the car on road trips. I'm looking forward to the rest!

He is unsurpassed in his range. It’s just nuts a single human can narrate dozens of voices in two genders so perfectly. He needs to meet Brandon Sanderson.

Just started listening to the books about 5-6 weeks ago, currently on book four and loving them. I am so proud of your voice and everything about you. Those characters come alive in your reading and I appreciate you sir!

Artemis was by far my least favourite of Weir's books. I thought Jazz just a worse version of every other protagonist he's done (and he can only write one of them). I kept reading quotes to my girlfriend being like 'this isn't just me as a dude, right?" the 'manwritingwoman' was kicking in big time. She was floored by some of the writing. Little stuff, like her being sexually promiscuous was a plot point that was raised over and over again by other characters as a way to be crappy to her, yet never in the book does she actually show any of that kind of behaviour? The blocking was stiff, wooden, and the actual character interactions were just so bizarre? There's a moment she's sitting down in the bar and get's a beer and her legitimate response is "Yum, nice and cold" like she's on some 90s coors light commercial. Weir spent so much time having every other character tell YOU the reader, through other characters, how much Jazz was wasting her potential, and how smart she was rather than just SHOWING us that through her actions. Combine that was just having these supposedly well laid plans that - every single time - get undone by bizarre deus ex machina. It's like he wrote himself *too* smart of a character and the only way to make her plans fail was like 'well what if this random rock gets knocked over???' and repeat that for every new heist. Weak characters, science was mehhh, plot was very mehhhhh. Only good thing was Artemis itself. The world felt well thought out and alive and I just wish as much time had gone into thinking through the minutia of the characters and plot as was put into worldbuilding.

I would like to know how he went from high school graduate on to a journeyman and then to an author with an incredible ability to manipulate emotions, contrive an incredibly complex universe and innately understand the things that motivate the creatures in this universe. That's all.

I noticed that Maude definitely contributed to the conversation and shared her own experiences, but, I didn't notice that she walked over Martha Wells at all or interrupted her when she was talking. Maude's interviews from what I've seen (I've only watched two [so far]) are from the perspective of someone who genuinely enjoys the works of the person she's interviewing and asks questions that someone who read and enjoys the book(s) would ask, so your comment seems strange to me.
