This fills my soul with joy. I never knew I needed to hear Zev say the line, and maybe she does at some point. But that's fantastic to see them all back to back like this.

It's painfully repetative. The pronoun bs and please stop and explain why happened for Murderbot to be murderbot. You're just dragging it out by repetative story. Reapeat same story. Again and again. On reapeat... SEE HOW IT FEELS.

I thought that the first book was awful.. It read like a immature psychopath lying about their past.. It reminded me of the book A million Little Pieces where the author tried to pass off his garbage as non fiction.. I read just a few pages and knew it was total BS. At least Red Rising is actually sold as fiction, and I did read the entire book.. It seems that it was just me though.. Maybe I’ll try the second book, but if I get the same vibe, I’ll stop reading..

“Immature psychopath” I mean ya? Bros a teenager and lost his wife young and wanted revenge and lied because if he was found out they were gonna cap him. 💀

I have never "fan-boyed" as much for a series as I have DCC. I've listened to the first six audiobooks at least three times, same with Season One of the immersion tunnel. Eagerly awaiting Season Two and Book Seven! Also, as an indie author, I feel Jeff's pain when it comes to dealing with the publishing industry, especially Amazon. They take a larger chunk of our royalties than they let on, yet we're mostly powerless because they are the juggernaut in the room. I'm fortunate to have had multiple best-sellers in my genre, but it gets harder every year. As much as I would love to work with Jeff and SBT, my books are all historical fiction (Ancient Rome and British Empire eras), so probably not a good fit for his company, which seems to focus all on fantasy and LitRPG.

I love these books so much. I can't even count how many times I've listened to them at this point. Matt's patreon is literally the only one I have ever subscribed to. I have to say: Matt, I wish all the best things in the world for you. Thank you for sharing your stories with us. Oh yeah, I also want to beg you to come to Omaha. Pretty please?

Idk if anyone else agrees but SPOILER Daxo’s death in dark age was extremely tragic to me, he died for a cause he didnt care for and was only a politico for Virginia, and died for Virginia, it just doesn’t feel very fair that he died for a cause and people he didn’t even like, wish he didn’t have to die the way he did

Ah finally this intervieuw is out. I remember reading on reddit that matt says, that the release date would be announced on maudes channel. That is how i find your channel, but he said that a week ago or so. I am also glad to know the reason why there isnt a paperback version out yet on amazon. It is kinda funny to hear why😅😂.

One of the things that I love about the series is the lack of romantic stuff in the middle of daily near death experiences. It is always so weird watching people having emotional conversations in the middle of a gun fight in other movies/books. Having been in some situations myself the absolute last thing I was thinking about was my emotions. Real life isn't an NPR interview.
@cfrazier9712Ай бұрын
Exactly. They're fighting for their lives constantly, and being watched 24/7, I wouldn't have the brainpower left to consider relationships with other humans

New to your channel. Good interview. A note of constructive criticism from a content consumer: I would put links to your guest’s socials or website in the description of the video. Just a common courtesy thing, I think.
