Let's set the record straight : the father of Priscilla let her stay in Vernon's house when she was almost 18 (not 14 !) because the family was coming back from Germany 3 months later and she begged him to let her be graduated in USA. Facts are sometimes really too far from the storytelling created by those "who were there" ...

Dont come for me on this. But my opinion on Lamar is ,that he was the ultimate yes man for Elvis , class clown if you will. He done plenty of talking once Elvis died, dont think he was as vocal when he was alive. Looking back on every interview and books , theres lots of inconsistencies from Lamar. Good few story changes, lies if you will. Again my opinion. Goldmans book for one, Lamar sensationalised some of the storys in that book, not very loyal, but i wasnt there he was, so i could be way of. But im pretty good at judging a character, and i always got a bad vibe from him. Good interview all the same. Way more patient than i could have been.

All the scripts were original after Blue Hawai ? He forgets "Follow that dream"/"Stay away Joe"/" Live a little love a little"/"The trouble with girls"; and before Blue Hawai Elvis also had two dramatic roles in: Flaming star / Wild in the country.

In 1948, Parker was given the honorary rank of colonel in the Louisiana State Militia by Jimmie Davis, the governor of Louisiana. Alanna Nash accuses Parker of murder only because of the fact that a woman he didn't know was killed the day he left for the United States. This is far from enough to accuse someone of murder.

He shouldn't talk about Vernon like that. Vernon at least never badmouthed about Elvis, tried to advise Elvis and to protect Lisa by adding 2 co trustees beside Priscilla. Vernon behaved like a caring father, they did not always behave like caring friends or employees.

If they really wanted to help Elvis, they could write to Elvis instead of making money with a book that could have destroyed his career.

Your channel deleted my comment where I lined up her contradictions and the fact that IMO Priscilla had a lot to do with the huge turnaround on what Shirley had said for 20 years. Also going full throttle as in a mission to discredit Hinger the only Elvis relationship besides AnnMargret or Anita Wood who hadn’t written a book for almost 50 years. Shirley Dieu discredited herself with her lies. She clearly said Priscilla had disappointed her by mocking Elvis one day that they visited Lisa and was firm on her statement that Elvis never found his true love. Ginger writes a largely anticipated book and suddenly Shirley writes a small book with Priscilla’s blessing allowing her to sell them at Graceland during Elvis Week and sign them plus selling personallly designed tee shirts there too. Tacky. Suddenly she writes snd spreads that Ginger meant nothing because Elvis was going back or wanted to go back to Priscilla? Many family members including Elvis father stated that Elvis was very much in love with Ginger and wanted to marry her and have a son. I’m NOT Team Ginger either. But it gets sad and frustrating that everyone sells out to Priscilla for their own agenda and are willing to spread Priscilla’s lies. Now Shirley is going to Elvis Week. She is probably on a mission to promote Elvis’ love for Priscilla and viceversa in behalf of Priscilla since Cilla has been barred from Graceland and Elvis Week events by Lisa herself. Many Elvis fans are not happy with Shirley’s appearance there and have voiced their displeasure because are tired of all the stuff Priscilla pulled on Elvis, Lisa, and recently Lisa’s Will and the settlement and deal she bullied from Riley. The fans know she’s going to promote Priscilla propaganda since Cilla is dealing with some serious stuff. Fans are ready. You will probably delete this because obviously you are Priscilla’s little helpers as well. Very sad.

I believe they all loved him in their own way, each had a different relationship with Elvis and then there was the “group of guys” and that adds a lot of different dynamics. All of us can have different perceptions of the same situation. I don’t like some of them but that doesn’t mean they didn’t love Elvis.

Reference analogue as mastered by Boppin bob Jones. If you don't mind flipping the disc every few mins they are worth putting on the turn table

She’s one of those people I’m sure Elvis kept at arms length. I could be wrong but, I wouldn’t imagine Elvis showing any of his cards to this crazy drama queen. I’m sure he was friendly to get along with her but, I seriously doubt this lady has even a slight idea of how Elvis was or how things were in his world. She’s defintely a “hanger on” type and enjoys being affiliated with someone who has a name.

Marty was the most on top of it guy in the MM. it’s a damn shame Marty wasnt the manager. Uncle Tom and Vernon were from that Depression era PTSD mentality where things can go bad real fast; the upshot is that they managed Elvis from an “ if it aint broke, dont fix it” mode. Marty shows a perfect combo of TCB and artistic growth. Sure, the Vernon/Parker mode generated huge $$, but the costs of the same old same old was devastating. Elvis had zero challenges; he went on auto pilot, got bored, self medicated and died at 42. Marry was totally plugged into Elvis’ mindset. The problem was that Elvis was stubborn as hell and was hell bent to do it his way or no way. All that. But Marty was a solid.
