Is it possible to daisy chain another p16 without the p16 D? And can you substitute the p16 D with another similar product?
@theproductionprofessor16 күн бұрын
Daisy chain is possible as long as each P16 has a power adapter connected to it. As far as I know, the P16 cannot be substituted for another device

Thanks!,, the P16D is a must? I mean if we have only one P16, can it go directly to the ultranet of the X18 ?
@theproductionprofessorАй бұрын
You can connect one P16 directly to the ultranet port. if you need more, you can Daisy chain them if they each have the power supply, or you can use the D to split it to multiple units (power supply not required)

We have a Beringer X32 and P16s. I would like the worship leader to to be able to hear the main Left and Right front of house signel in one channel on the p16s. Can I route the main left and right to a bus? I would then send the bus to the p16 where we could solo the p16 channel.
@theproductionprofessorАй бұрын
Yes, this is absolutely possible to do from the ultranet routing screen
@josiahstroud2245Ай бұрын
You wouldn’t even need a bus. On the p16 routing page you can simply route the main left and right to any two channels on the p16

@theproductionprofessorАй бұрын
I’m honestly not sure. Sorry about that.

This has to do with weather you are using a stereo bus (2buses linked together, or just one bus. If you are using one bus it will not have the panning option.

Hey bro can you help? Had a strange problem today. The MD mic line was completely silent but only in my mix. There is signal and other mixes can hear it, but I cannot. Is there somewhere I can mute that channel for me?

It’s possible that it was muted in your mix bus on the X32. Have you had the issue again?

I’ll set my playback buttons to release on next go so all the operator has to do is push the button a second time to release instead of switching the go and release modes on the screen

This is how I set my shows up also. Everything accessible and able to combine. I usually split certain fixture types in two groups so I have different intensity faders for them. I like to be able to flash them to the beat on my own. I also have some different flash patterns on faders to control the speed. Sometimes it's just nice to set that fader and let the flash pattern run while I concentrate on something else. I also have some different movements on the touch screen buttons, but I put pan/speed and tilt/speed on faders so I can adjust on the fly and get different size and speed on the movements from the same que depending on the music. The lights starts to move directly when I bring a fader up. This type of setup works really good for me because I almost never know exactly what is going to happen on stage

The last item of main volume should have been addressed first as this setting is crucial for creating headroom for all individual channels afterwords. It’s correct to be at least 80% and left there.

Just a question: is the equalization independent of the main volume? I'll give you an example: if the guitar, in the main volume, is flat from the point of view of the eq, and I want to hear more low frequencies in the guitar in my monitor, raising the low frequencies from P16, the guitar eq will change only for me or also in main?
@theproductionprofessor10 ай бұрын
It will only adjust what you are hearing in your ears-not what hits the main LR out (the PA)
