I don't know much about goalkeeping and I've never watched an edited video of a goalkeeper before, but from the 3 videos of him on this channel to my eye he looks impressive. It looks like he might not have the fastest reactions or fastest hands out there, but he's really good with his feet, both left and right, and he's very athletic. He looks very balanced in motion, like a UFC fighter. He looks good at dives, high claims, punches, and taking crosses. Maybe speed beats balance and body control in goalkeeping, I have no idea. But give him some time to work on technique and to build up a knowledge base of experience and I bet he can be a great keeper.

I miss the blonde - and I missed some of his big dynamic movement in this game. Really hope he is able to get back to finding space and moving into it by scanning, didn't see a lot of that in this game.

He had a great game for someone his age and as someone also 14, i can say he dominated the game, taking risks most grown men wouldnt, creating space, setting up teammates, and helping the defense. Although he made mistakes, thats what development is all about

Honestly - a great game for our boy.... creative when needed which is awesome, powerful on runs when needed.... the only 'issue' in this one, was him not scoring on that second half moment inside the 6 yard box... but that comes with development. Otherwise a truly strong game, and if his teammates finished, he would have 4 assists in this one!

I've heard Kaedren Spivey is supposed to be good, but San Jose has been bringing him along comparatively conservatively.

I like see some of the one touches and flick ons. It seems our youth are getting better at the quickness of the game. Hopefully this will seem them be successful as they go in to the full professional environment.

Playing well today - but honestly - likely because he is above this level and he is truly faster in-sprint with the ball than 3/4's of the team, maybe more... and that's a huge advantage when you use body feints like he does.
