see I'm using Sony alpha 7R V but most of the time face issue with L-plate. once i set it on vertical mode and make it balanced after calibrating it goes down all the time. i have only L-plate tell me how to manage this issue..

For me 70-85 was the sweet spot here.

Focal length only affects the background because you have to move further from the subject as you increase the focal length. This video does nothing to explain that to viewers.

The 30mm F1.4 sigma EX lens I have seems to be sharper at 1.4 than my 18-135 is at F8; sometimes no matter what you do, you can’t get as sharp of a photo with certain gear.
