Absolutely gorgeous! Can you tell me where to get the crushed crystal from please? I have lots but Hubby has to crush by hand with a hammer so not happy when i ask him to do it 🙄💖🙏💖
@EllePours4 ай бұрын
Absolutely! I buy them from stonebridge imports, type in “crushed Quartz”. I used coarse on this but you can also buy finely crushed too!

I know ‘ panic mode ‘ well 😂 Beautiful table
@EllePours4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I forgot how many panic modes this table caused until editing the video lol posted without any context at all! First my pigment went from green to blue and I panicked, added more white and made light green on the fly and realized pouring it that all my epoxy was heated way too much to pour more on top so I got attacked by severe bubbles and burnt resin. LOL the zoom ins without an explanation is so chaotic 😂
@kellyjean49814 ай бұрын
@@EllePours you did a wonderful job. Honestly, when I work with resin I think I have so much time and also think I have a plan and then all of a sudden there is NO time left. The excitement of resin.

Hello! It’s really magnificent what you’re doing, well done. I would like to know, are they paintings or wooden supports that you use as a base?

I typically find my bigger ones at markets or crystal shops! The smaller ones I sometimes buy from wholesale sellers online :)

Is that a canvas underneath? If not what is it called please 🙏🏻????
@EllePours6 ай бұрын
Hey there! It's actually a wooden panel from Curry's art supply. I recommend wood for strength, epoxy and glass are heavy materials so it will give you extra longevity. It also gives you more control pouring as it won't tip in while curing. Hope this helps!

Beautiful work, but just wondering what do you do about t.he sides and back
@EllePours8 ай бұрын
Thank you! And you can do whatever you want to do. I usually paint the edges and add a strong hook to the back. Add a logo, paint the entire back if you want. That’s all a personal preference and every artist will do their own final touches.
@user-xy6mf2gq8t8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I keep watching soooo many videos and I get a little confused as some show what they do and some don't. I am trying to learn how to do them, I have made two test pieces of art and have a difficult time getting the sides to look right. I think maybe I am not using enough resin. Also in your opinion would using wood be better support than canvas when you use a lot of crystal stones, just asking, I'm sure it is all a matter of personal choice.@@EllePours
